Lin Wu lived in Wilderness Town while suffering from mobility problems and illness. He cared for Xiao Yao, the younger sister of a friend who died saving him and entrusted her to Lin Wu's care. 7
When Li Ye recruited him, Lin Wu accurately inferred that Li Ye had once been a slave by noticing his reactions and the way he pulled at clothing over unhealed whip scars. Li Ye was impressed by this observation and accepted both Lin Wu and Xiao Yao onto the Tomorrow. 7

Personality

He is cautious about both military and political matters. He warns that city-channel users will conceal valuable intelligence, identifies how an Emperor-class Monster could arrive faster by air rather than land or sea, and questions why powerful Wasteland Gods would need to cultivate humanity rather than act directly. 102 128 272
Despite his health limitations and growing workload, Lin Wu remains dedicated to Tomorrow's development. He repeatedly takes responsibility for repairs, recruitment, training programs, civic administration, and strategic planning. 68 100 117 168
