Nature and Function

Ruin Realm is known as the endpoint of all planar spaces. It periodically pulls planes from the void into itself; weaker worlds may be absorbed outright, while stronger worlds can collide and fuse with it, producing twisted rules, unusual lifeforms, Rule Crystals, and condensed Plane Origin. 929 946 991

The Glass World’s collision with Ruin Realm demonstrated this process directly. As Ruin Realm digested it, Glass World shrank by over thirty percent, while cultivators of many races fought over the Plane Origin and Rule Crystals produced by the merger. 991 995

The realm contains ten thousand races. Cities and territories controlled by one’s own race offer relative safety, while travel beyond racial boundaries is highly dangerous and unpredictable. 886

Heavenly Dao and Rules

Ruin Realm’s rules and Heavenly Dao are comparatively exposed. Cultivators with sufficient strength can observe their circulation and comprehend them, unlike in the Mystic Feather World, where the Great Dao is hidden and cultivation depends on Heaven and Earth Status Rank. 1637

The realm historically possessed nine Great Heavenly Daos. Ninth-Order Peak cultivators who gained one became Dao Ancestors, but control over powerful rules was secured through direct conflict as much as compatibility or comprehension. 1352 1437

Ruin Realm’s Heavenly Dao is incomplete compared with that of the Mystic Feather World. It developed by instinctively imitating the higher world’s Heavenly Dao, but its understanding remained narrow and biased until Chen Fei became Realm Lord and began correcting it through their connection. 1486

Time Heavenly Dao

The Time Heavenly Dao runs through all of Ruin Realm and cannot be controlled by ordinary cultivators. Only a Realm Lord holding the entire plane can access it; even then, Chen Fei cannot reverse time, though he can observe the realm’s fixed past. 1486

Response to Death and Cultivation

Ruin Realm does not visibly react when Sun Moon Realm cultivators—or even Sixth-Order Emperor Lords—die, unlike lower planes whose rules may resonate with the deaths of high-level cultivators. 885

Its heavenly tribulations are manifestations of the plane’s immense pressure. A Creation Realm breakthrough must withstand not merely lightning, but the crushing transformation imposed by Ruin Realm itself. 1202 1203

Heart Strange Realm

Ruin Realm’s Material Realm is linked to the Heart Strange Realm, which continuously absorbs negative emotions, death, hatred, and slaughter. This process keeps the Material Realm’s Heaven and Earth Essence Qi comparatively clear, but also nourishes dangerous bodiless beings within the Heart Strange Realm. 1175

The growing power of the Heart Strange Realm became a long-term threat. More than a dozen Ninth-Order Supreme Races jointly forged the Kun Ruin Pagoda to release some of its accumulated power into the void; the collision between that power and Material Realm Essence Qi created previously unknown Natural Material Treasures. 1255

Path to Immortality and Realm Lord

Ruin Realm has no true Spiritual Wisdom, but it possesses instincts of self-preservation and advancement. When it approached transformation, it created the Path to Immortality to select the strongest possible Realm Lord, allowing both cultivator and plane to rise together. 1469

The Path to Immortality was projected into the souls of all beings in Ruin Realm and its lower planes. Its final contest was also displayed across the skies, as the birth of a Realm Lord concerned every living being within the realm. 1469 1472

Chen Fei ultimately reached the final step and became Ruin Realm’s Realm Lord. He gained authority over the realm’s Heavenly Daos, access to its planar power, and awareness of events throughout its territory. 1486 1487
