History
Wang Xian established Immortal Palace’s territory in a remote location that initially drew criticism. Its position became valuable when the Hongmeng Mountain Range within its borders began producing Innate Stones, which repeatedly increase basic attributes. The discovery brought demands to share the mountain range and drew hostile guilds and foreign forces toward Immortal Palace 437.
During Wang Xian’s presumed death, Nangong Wu led the defense. Foreign experts besieged the territory for months while most members remained around levels 120–130, below the attackers’ roughly level-150 fighters. When a million-strong army advanced, Nangong Wu activated the territory’s levitation, lifting its 100,000-meter-radius expanse into the air 458 462.
Immortal Palace subsequently became a sect, equipped its disciples with identity tokens, and mobilized tens of thousands of members under Nangong Wu and Wang Xian 522 534 632. Much later, its Thunder Pool made the territory valuable to cultivators even at the peak of the Nine-Revolutions Immortal Emperor stage. Wang Xian rejected the Ten Great Immortal Sects’ attempts to make him share it 1505 1509.
Territory & Resources
Core Crystal
- The core crystal is essential to the territory: its destruction would destroy the territory. Its location is normally known only to the guild leader, vice guild leaders, and honorary guild leader, but becomes exposed if more than 80% of the buildings are damaged 349.
- Its recorded traits include 15% greater building defense, automatic building repair, 15% reduced damage to buildings, and 15% reductions to intruders’ movement and attack speeds. Guild members inside gain 300 to all attributes 349.
- The core also lists self-destruction and a subsequent Nirvana state when its HP reaches zero 349.
Cultivation and Defense
- Hongmeng Mountain Range — Lies within the territory and produces Innate Stones. A stone grants 1,000 points to each of the five basic attributes and can be used once per month 437.
- Thunder Pool — Supports the Thunder God Legion and, after merging with the Experience Pool, continuously grants experience to players inside the territory 459 1234. Its experience gain remains effective for some cultivators who can no longer gain experience by killing monsters 1505.
- Angel’s Love — A guild building whose revival ability helps defenders return during battle 459.
- Ice Prison — Derived from the Sculpture of the Ice Snow Sovereign; it seals prisoners’ strength 862.
Sect System
Immortal Art
- Immortal Palace’s Mythical Grade sect-protecting cultivation method has nine levels and can merge with other cultivation methods to gain further levels. Non-disciples who cultivate it face Heavenly Dao punishment 602.
- It initially grants 1,000 experience per second, doubling that gain with each additional level. Active use in battle increases damage by 100% and damage reduction by 50%, at a mana cost that rises as combat continues 602.
Disciples and Identity Tokens
- Immortal Palace’s ranks can be assigned directly up to Core Disciple; Grand Elders are an exception 525.
- Its Epic Grade Disciple Identity Token grants attack, defense, and attribute bonuses. It can retaliate with lightning, provide percentage-based bonuses through Divine Beast’s Blessing, and summon an Immortal King’s Phantom. The listed equip requirement is Core Disciple 534.
- The sect’s Mission Hall has an NPC who issues missions; Sword Twenty-Three is directed there when he asks how to raise his disciple status 534.
Relationships
- Nangong Wu — Leads Immortal Palace’s defense and later serves as sect master 458 632.
- Wang Xian — Honorary guild leader turned Grand Elder; he established the territory and calls it his foundation 400 437 632 1509.
- Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Long Aotian, and Shadow — Allied guild leaders who aid its defense and later join Immortal Palace 437 534.
- Dream Ancestor — Permits players of other races to cultivate in the territory under an apparent agreement with their races 1234.
- Ten Great Immortal Sects — Their guards confront Wang Xian in the territory, and their representatives later seek to share it; Wang Xian refuses 1505 1509.
