A simple yet heartwarming breakfast.

As Soren led little Vivian downstairs, Goria happened to come out at that moment. She glanced at the little girl beside her, her lips moved slightly, but no sound came out. Only a sentence rang in Soren's ear. "Vivian had another nightmare last night!"

Soren nodded silently, his expression grave, and said nothing.

This is the third time!

As time passed, Vivian's signs of being Godsbane became increasingly clear, and the frequency of her nightmares increased, with the intervals between her recent nightmares becoming shorter. Although the little girl often smiled without saying anything, Soren knew she must have guessed something. Vivian had been very intelligent since childhood, although she didn't like to show it, she was definitely not a simple, obedient, and sensible little girl. In many ways, she was smarter and more perceptive Soren, it was just that it wasn't obvious due to her current age.

After all, she is only eight years old this year.

As they came downstairs, the Halfling figure just entered through the door. His feet were noticeably wet, suggesting he had been outside. Aladdin quietly approached Soren, found a stool, and sat down. He whispered, "Last night, the Elf Patrol Guard was attacked. It seems to have been done by Lycanthrope who worship the God of Hunt, but I couldn't find out exactly which Lycanthrope. The Elf Patrol Guard is furious and seems to be preparing to contact other Patrol Guard."

Lycanthrope.

This mainly refers to humanoid creatures, such as Gnoll, Minotaur, Leonin, Centaur, Satyr- Harpy Tigranes, Siren, and so on. These creatures all possess some obvious human characteristics, as well as some obvious beast-like features. It is said that they are the product of certain forbidden experiments during the Arcane Empire era, and some are ancient Hit Points forms that have existed for a very long time. In any case, they have existed for a very long time, and most of them are scattered around the world in tribes and clans.

Another type of intelligent Hit Points is the Orc. They are a primitive Hit Points just like humans, not a type of Lycanthrope.

"Malar the God of Hunt?"

Soren frowned, paused for a moment, and then said in a deep voice, "Are you sure it was its followers who attacked the Elf?"

Aladdin nodded firmly and said, "I'm very sure."

"Looks like things are getting complicated." Soren glanced up at Goria, then suddenly turned to the Halfling beside him and said, "We're planning to leave soon. Are you going to continue Travel with us, or do you have other plans?"

Is he leaving so suddenly?

The Halfling glanced at Soren in surprise, Goria beside him also looked up in astonishment.

Aladdin was still puzzled, but the Northern Witch gave Soren a deep look, then nodded slightly and said, "Yes. We'll continue our journey soon, Travel all the way to the Land of Ice and Snow."

The Halfling looked troubled and said in a low voice, "Going to such a far place? It must be very cold there, right?"

The hotel door was pushed open.

A gloomy-faced Elf Guard rose, glanced around the inn, his gaze lingering on Soren for a moment before closing the door and leaving.

There are no followers of the God of Hunt in this Inn!

Soren quickly stood up, glanced at Goria, and said, "Pack your things, we'll be leaving soon."

The Halfling clearly became conflicted.

He stood there thinking for a long time before whispering, "I don't plan to go that far. How about we part ways like this? Come visit me in Shire sometime, and I'll definitely treat you to a big meal."

Soren smiled and replied, "Alright. You'd better not get involved in this. The followers of the God of Hunt are all crazy."

Obviously.

Soren resisted his curiosity and didn't get involved in the commotion last night, but the Halfling couldn't resist and went to investigate.

They quickly decided to leave.

Vivian followed quietly behind, and Goria didn't ask any questions. Only the Halfling remained, watching them leave with a hint of regret. The companions and the Witch before him were definitely people with stories to tell, and that little girl was no ordinary person either; her talent was undeniably strong. Although the Rogue wasn't familiar with Wizard talent, the Halfling saw Vivian as possessing exceptionally high Wizard potential. He glanced hesitantly at the location of the temple, but ultimately remembered Soren's warning and didn't get involved in the matter any further.

Soren is right. The followers of the God of Hunt are indeed a bit crazy!

They walked a long way.

After Soren put Vivian down to rest, Goria walked over with a serious expression and said in a deep voice, "Why did you suddenly leave?"

It seems she trusts Soren quite a bit, as she only asked him now.

Soren glanced at the village behind him before slowly saying, "The God of Hunt should also be asleep. As a relatively weak Deity, his slumber could prevent his followers and priests from obtaining Divine Magic!"

"This attack is likely a Hunt Ritual."

The Northern Witch was undoubtedly very knowledgeable. She glanced hesitantly at Soren and murmured, "You mean to say that this attack might be for the Legendary Blood?"

Soren nodded silently and said in a deep voice, "The God of Hunt is only interested in Hunt Ritual of Legendary or higher."

Malar, the God of Hunt.

A primordial Deity of Lesser Divinity, also known as the Beast Lord or the Beast of Black Blood, is a Chaotic Evil Deity who delights in Slaughter and ruthless Hunt Ritual. The stronger the prey, the more likely it is to attract its attention. Its true form is a creature that looks like an ape but has a ferocious face, covered in black fur, with blood-red skin, and a face somewhat like Orc, but even uglier and more savage.

Many Deity are not human or Humanoid; some are simply Wise Beast.

Malar the God of Hunt, is such a Deity. He is a rare monster who became Deity for some reason. His followers are mainly Evil Lycanthrope, Hunter who enjoy the hunt, people who love blood, and some fallen Ranger and druids. He is the easiest Deity to awaken and descend upon. He has a strong desire for Legendary Blood, and any target of the Legendary rank or higher may attract his Avatar to descend.

There are many Lycanthrope groups in this area who worship the God of Hunt!

Soren estimated that there was at least a 50% chance that the Lycanthrope were performing some kind of ritual. In the ' Legendary Blood ' Hunt Ritual, the Lycanthrope would also hunt down a large number of ordinary creatures as a prelude. Malar was a very strange Deity. He appreciated hunting powerful targets. The more powerful the prey, the more likely it was to attract His attention. If it was just Slaughter ordinary creatures, He wouldn't even care.

This Legendary Hunt Ritual can enhance His Divine Power!

In an effort to appease this Evil Deity, His followers periodically attempt to hunt down Legendary Tier targets.

At first, it included wild animals, but later even intelligent beings were included!

The Northern Witch glanced intently into the distance, then lowered her voice and said, "There's a Copper Dragon nearby. Could it be their target?"

Legendary Creature.

Dragon are undoubtedly the most quintessential Legendary Creature.

Soren pondered for a moment, then looked at the other party and said, "Dragon Slayer is no easy task. Malar's followers would probably not attempt to Dragon Slayer unless absolutely necessary."

Creatures of the Chaotic Evil Alignment are generally quite insane.

Malar's followers were a bunch of crazy guys; Soren couldn't be sure of their goals and didn't want to have much contact with them.

Inside a dense primeval forest.

A jet-black Gnoll leaped through the forest. Unlike the Gnoll Soren had seen before, this one was more agile and dangerous. Its Gnoll were a ghostly green, and its figure moved through the trees like a phantom, often flashing past in an instant, making it difficult to catch a trace with the naked eye. It wore Leather Armor sewn from some kind of black Animal Hide, and carried no weapons. However, the gleam of steel could be seen where its claws were placed; its claws were made of metal using some special method.

Snap!

The Gnoll, whose level was uncertain, landed, glanced at the side with its eerie green eyes, and said in a deep voice, "The ritual is about to begin. We must awaken the attention of the God of Hunt. Without the protection of the Deity, our tribe will grow weaker and weaker, and our prey will become fewer and fewer."

Heavy footsteps approached.

The one who appeared was a very robust, half- Giant Half-Orc face and bared fangs. He glanced at the Gnoll, "The ritual requires Legendary Tier prey."

"I know there's a Copper Dragon nearby, but it seems we're not strong enough to take it down!"

The Gnoll grinned maliciously, revealing a metallic fang on its right side. "No need to Dragon Slayer," it said. "I know a Fear God Child is nearby. The blood of these Godsbane will attract my My Lord's attention far more than that of Dragon."

Godsbane?

The Half-Orc looked around. Beside him were many strange creatures. The followers of the God of Hunt were very diverse, including humans, Orc, even Wise Beast, and Dark Creature that enjoyed the hunt.

The black Gnoll looked at the others and said in a deep voice, "I've already seen him use his Divine Power. It seems he's only just awakened. Some of you go prepare the other sacrifices, and the rest of you come with me to track down the prey!"

"I believe that offering a Godsbane as a sacrifice will surely reawaken Malar's attention!"

A series of agile figures darted out, these hunters, whose strength was conservatively at least at the third rank, scattered and dispersed into the dense forest, accompanied by various strange howls. The Gnoll raised his metal claws and used the sharp claws to slash a bloody gash across his face, drops of blood dripping down his cheek. The other creatures that remained did the same. Toughness Half-Orc cut his forehead with the blade, then knelt on one knee and began to pray, a smile of piety mixed with madness on his face.

Hunt Ritual!

This is when it truly begins!
