Everything happened in that one second!

As Soren vanished into thin air, everything before him turned grayish-white. The sky remained a perpetually gray hue, as did the sunlight and moonlight. This single second was incredibly short; the scenery around Soren rushed past, and his body was momentarily assimilated by the shadows, transforming him into a Shadow Creature (physical etherealization). The surrounding landscape distorted. The Plane portal opened was a dimensional passage to the Shadow Plane, a Spell- like teleportation ability that lasted only a second; it wasn't a true entry into the Shadow Plane.

The next moment he appeared behind the Elf Ranger.

The opponent's shadow twisted eerily, the grotesque shadow transforming into a distorted outline, eventually becoming Soren's shadow. Then, a blurry figure shrouded in shadow suddenly appeared.

The Elf Ranger's face still bore a malicious smile. He had achieved his goal, after all. The hunters had clearly allocated some of their forces to deal with Soren and Goria, thus reducing the danger he faced. If the hunters were distracted by the three nearby, he had a high chance of escaping, given his own abilities as Fear God Child. He had even begun planning his escape route, his expression still frozen in shock, when suddenly his entire body stiffened as the Sharpness blade pierced his chest, instantly penetrating his heart. Then, with a roar, the blade twisted violently.

"Die!"

Soren's expression was ferocious. He gripped the sword with both hands, twisting and turning it, the blade piercing through his opponent's armor. As it pierced the heart, it also tore a bloody hole in the chest. A crack appeared on the finely crafted military-grade Scimitar; the weapon, unable to withstand Soren's sudden burst of extreme power, showed signs of breaking. The shadow behind him continued to distort. The Elf Ranger's shadow overlapped with his own, making him appear as a hazy, grayish mass, like a black shadow. Only when he pulled out the Scimitar did the shadow return to its original form, and the blurred face gradually became clear.

The Elf Ranger's body fell straight to the ground, and to everyone's surprise, he was killed by Soren with a single blow!

The Gnoll's ferocious grin remained frozen on his face, while the other hunters stared in disbelief.

A huge amount of information suddenly appeared:

"Activate Darkvision!"

"Activate Shadow Hide!"

"Activate Shadow Shift!"

"Launch Shadow Assassination!"

"Shadow Hide successful!... [Hide in Plain Sight] Feat activated!... Shadow Shift successful!... Cross-Plane Shadow Leap ability activated!... Shadow Assassination successful!... You gain 9 points of Shadow Damage bonus!... Backstab initiated!... You deal 121 points of fatal damage to the target!... Target dies!..."

"Extracting Soul Energy!..."

"You have gained 3600 Slaughter Experience points!..."

"The target is Divine Being!..."

"Drawing Divine Power from the target!... You gain 3 points of Divinity!..."

"The target possesses the Fear Divine Power!"

"Failed to extract Fear Divine Power!... Divine Rank storage failed!... Portfolio storage failed!... You do not have any Divine Rank rank or Domain to store Fear Divine Power!... Target Fear Divine Power transferred!..."

Behind this dense, jumping data is the data that appeared the moment Soren unleashed his power:

"Rogue class upgraded to level 7."

"Gain 25 Skill Point (Agility 20 + Intelligence 20 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 11 points (Class Hit Points 6 + Constitution 20 - 10) * 0.5)."

The 11 Hit Points points gained from the class level upgrade temporarily alleviated his injuries, although he was still temporarily deaf. However, Soren had regained his sense of the outside world. His anger and killing intent were extremely intense, and he unhesitatingly poured his Slaughter Experience into it. The Elf Ranger in front of him had to die. Such intense killing intent even made his pupils turn blood red due to the dilation of tiny blood vessels.

All Skill Point were allocated to Dodge.

Soren instantly met the requirements to advance to Shadow Dancer, and then chose to advance without hesitation.

"Advanced Shadow Dancer!"

"Advanced requirements: [Evasion] (achieved), [Mobility] (achieved), 100 points in Stealth Skill (achieved), 50 points in Dodge Skill (achieved)..."

"You have successfully advanced to become Shadow Dancer!..."

"Shadow Dancer ability bonus activated!... You have consumed an additional 5000 Slaughter Experience points!... You have learned the class talent [Hide in Plain Sight]!... Stealth skill +15, Dodge skill +20!... Hit Points increased by 13 points (Class Hit Points 8 points + (Constitution 20 - 10) * 0.5)."

"You have gained a bit of freedom."

"You have successfully advanced to a Tier 3 professional!... You have gained the opportunity for bloodline purification and an additional Feat Point!..."

Advancing to Shadow Dancer cost over 13,000 Slaughter Experience points. Besides the additional 5,000 Slaughter Experience points, he also needed to expend Soul Energy to level up. However, the power of this advanced class is undeniable. Soren lost a Skill Point allocated to the Rogue class, but gained an extra 10 points in Stealth and 20 points in Dodge. He also mastered the Shadow Dancer's most useful ability—[Hide in Plain Sight]!

"Hide in Plain Sight [Profession Talent]: The Shadow Dancer possesses extraordinary shadow skills, unmatched by other shadow-using professions. While in the shadows, the Shadow Dancer can use shadow energy to confuse the enemy's vision, activating Stealth skills under any circumstances (including in combat). Even when exposed to the enemy's gaze, the Shadow Dancer can successfully Shadow Jump, disappearing from their sight." (This skill can be used once per day, equivalent to the Shadow Dancer's level. Level 1 is once per day.)

The Rogue's Stealth abilities are also limited.

You can't simply disappear from someone's sight; Stealth is a process of merging yourself into the shadows. This process involves the omnipresent energy of shadow. Only two types of advanced Rogue can disappear right before your eyes in broad daylight: one is Stalker has mastered [Shadow Jump], and the other is Shadow Dancer who has mastered [Hide in Plain Sight].

The former involves disappearing directly into the Shadow Plane, while the latter uses shadow energy to obscure your vision.

In that one second of Shadow Jump, the Stalker is no longer on the Material Plane. He temporarily enters the Shadow Plane and returns, completely merging into the shadow energy. The Shadow Dancer uses shadow energy to confuse your vision during that one second. Although you cannot see his presence, the Shadow Dancer is still essentially in front of you. You can still attack him.

"Shadow Dancer class upgraded to level 2."

"Gain 25 Skill Point (Agility 20 + Intelligence 20 - 10) * 0.5), and increase Hit Points by 13 points (Class Hit Points 8 + Constitution 20 - 10) * 0.5)."

"Advanced Class Feat Acquisition!..."

"You have mastered the class talent [Darkvision]!... The effects of the Half-Elf's night vision ability are stacked!..."

"Rogue's total class level is 9 (Level 7 Rogue, Level 2 Shadow Dancer). You have gained an additional Feat Point!..."

One Rogue level grants an 11-point Hit Points boost, while two Shadow Dancer levels grant a 26-point Hit Points boost.

As an advanced combat class, the Shadow Dancer possesses powerful Dodge abilities, which can enhance the efficiency of mastering Dodge Feat. They also have a natural class level 2 points higher than the Rogue. While the Rogue's base Hit Points is 6, the Shadow Dancer 'Hit Points is 8, the same as most agility- Hit Points Warrior. Feat must be trained or acquired through Feat Point, but class talents are abilities that can be directly mastered.

Talent, as the name suggests, is an innate ability! Many Racial Feat are unique abilities that do not require Feat Point to master!

Racial Feat are primarily derived from advanced professions and innate bloodlines.

The 37 points of Hit Points restored Soren significantly from his Heavy Injury Condition. His vision returned, and although his ears were still bleeding, he could gradually hear again. The pain in his internal organs, caused by the supernatural sonic force, quickly subsided. His body, severely injured by Vivian's outburst, was fully recovered and ready to fight. He locked his gaze on the Elf Ranger before him and unhesitatingly upgraded his Shadow Dancer to level 2.

In the case of part-time work, the secondary job only counts for half of the job level.

With a level 7 Rogue and a level 2 advanced shadow Shadow Dancer, Soren's total Rogue level is 9. His part-time level 5 Wizard only has half the level bonus, so his total class level is around 12. Each of the three class levels grants one Feat Point. When the total class level reaches 10 or above, he enters the third tier, and each advancement also grants an additional Feat Point.

Soren completely abandoned other Feat upgrades, including powerful abilities such as [Intuitive Evasion], [Improved Evasion], and [Summon Shadow].

He poured all his Feat Point into the [Shadow Mastery] Feat!

"Spend one Feat Point!..."

"Your Class Feat [Shadow Mastery] has been upgraded to [Shadow Manipulation]!..."

"Spend one Feat Point!..."

"Your Class Feat [Shadow Manipulation] has been upgraded to [Shadow Weave]!..."

"Prerequisites met!... Stealth 150 (achieved), Shadow Weave (achieved), Advanced Shadow Dancer (achieved)... You have mastered the advanced Shadow Dancer ability [Shadow Shift]!..."

Soren has risen three ranks!

They gave up the Combat Skill of the Shadow Dancer, the precious opportunity to directly master [Intuitive Evasion], and the additional Spell-like Ability to Summon Shadow Hit Points.

He almost gave up most of his core abilities in order to master [Shadow Shift] ahead of time!

One cut.

With Shadow Shift activated, Soren killed the Elf Ranger in front of him with a single strike.

(Intuitive Evasion [Supernatural Feat]: Your senses will anticipate all attacks, whether Spell or physical. Any attack aimed at you will trigger a sense check. If the sense check passes, you will anticipate and detect all attacks aimed at you, including targeted Spell. You will also gain additional Dodge abilities from your senses.)

[Note: This supernatural Feat can be stacked with the supernatural talent of Super Sixth Sense.]

(Shadow Shift [Supernatural Ability]: You completely assimilate into the shadows, transforming into a Shadow Life form upon activating Shadow Shift. In Shadow Shift state, any shadow within a 100-meter radius can serve as your landing point for Cross-planar Jump. This Supernatural Ability is equivalent to a 100-meter teleportation Teleportation Spell. It can only be activated while in Stealth and within the shadows. This ability cannot be Cross-planar Jump to areas without shadows.)

[Note: This is a prerequisite for the Legendary Skill Shadow Step and can only be used once per day.]
