The Princess
Mass Hold Person is a 7th-level Spell.
All the guards outside were at least Tier 3 professionals. The fact that they were completely unaware meant that the guards must have used a unique technique to Quicken Spell. Quicken Spell requires an additional three Spell levels, meaning that this instant ' Mass Hold Person ' was as difficult as a Epic Spell. After noticing the anomaly outside, the middle-aged woman immediately knew that they had encountered a Legendary Wizard or priest.
Some priests with special abilities can also use Mass Hold Person.
Before the middle-aged woman could even react, several dark figures shot out from both sides of the road. A flash of cold light followed, and these guards, many of them at least at the third or even fourth rank, watched helplessly as their enemies slit their throats, dying with their eyes wide open in disbelief at the bodies of these men who were normally no match for them. The Legendary secretly cast the spell was of a very high level; the powerful Will Save granted by the Spell's strength nearly wiped out all these high-level Melee Class!
They stood still, unable to move an inch, as the enemy slaughtered them like chickens and dogs, piercing their hearts and slitting their throats.
A bloody Slaughter unfolded outside the carriage.
The middle-aged woman reacted incredibly quickly. Almost instantly, she pulled back, activated a scroll, and grabbed the pretty young girl beside her, preparing to teleport her away. As a princess of Arendelle, she would undoubtedly have extremely expensive teleportation scrolls at hand, which she could use to escape in times of crisis. Such scrolls were outrageously expensive; the cost of simply copying the Spell alone could reach tens of thousands of Gold Daler, and for long-distance teleportation, the cost could be several times higher.
But the middle-aged woman's expression turned extremely ugly the next moment. The Spell Aura on the scroll flickered and then disappeared.
--"Dimensional Anchor!"
The enemy had made thorough preparations long ago, sealing off all nearby Dimensional Space before launching their attack.
"Your Highness Anna." The middle-aged woman's expression was somewhat resolute as she drew two short swords from her legs. She then whispered in the girl's ear, "I'll hold them off for a while. After you get off the carriage, run towards Glacier City. The City Lord of Glacier City is a friend of Arendelle, and there are Legendary Tier professionals stationed there."
The young girl's pretty face paled slightly. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but the middle-aged woman had already activated a certain prop, causing her figure to disappear from the spot.
"Greater Invisibility!"
--"Greater Haste!"
--"Greater Grace!"
--"Greater Energy Protection!"
--"Greater Mage Armor!"
Five bursts of Spell Aura appeared in an instant, and the girl's figure vanished completely. The middle-aged woman had no time to say anything more; she rushed out of the carriage and pounced on the surrounding enemies. A burst of ice exploded around her, sharp ice blades slicing an enemy into pieces, crackling with electricity. Visible arcs of electricity Paralysis all enemies within a thirty-foot radius, charring their flesh. The middle-aged woman was exceptionally agile; her short sword instantly sliced open an enemy's throat, and then with a leap, she killed a second enemy.
The carriage curtain twitched slightly.
But no one could be seen, as if a gentle breeze had swept away something, leaving no footprints on the ground.
A beam of Spell light suddenly shot towards the empty air.
The middle-aged woman shouted. Suddenly, a Spell Aura appeared on the buttons on her body, and she moved three meters to the side, blocking the light with her body.
She froze on the spot, looking strangely frozen!
A masked assassin swung Dagger toward her heart, but stopped thirty centimeters from her body.
Energy Protection Field Spell energy.
The Spellcaster had been hiding in the shadows, finally emerged. She was completely shrouded in a black cloak, and one could vaguely see her ears sticking up—a characteristic of Elven Race, whose ears were much more pointed than those of humans. Spellcaster Serpent Whip was Constrict her waist. She frowned, glanced at the air in front of her, and then suddenly took flight, casting a True Seeing upon herself.
A blurry figure appeared ahead, desperately fleeing into the distance.
"You can't escape!"
A cruel smile curled at the corner of the Spellcaster's lips. A Greater Dispel Magic shattered the middle-aged woman's Energy Protection Field, and the spell then hurtled towards the fleeing girl at astonishing speed. Escaping from Legendary Spellcaster was no easy feat, even for other Legendary Professional. Let alone a mere human girl.
The distance is closing at an astonishing speed.
The girl, imbued with numerous Spell, had only escaped a little over a hundred meters when the Spellcaster behind the scenes appeared before her in a flash. He then pointed a finger, shattering her Abjuration Spell, and said in a magnetic voice, "Decree: Stun!"
The girl froze on the spot.
She remained motionless, like a delicate puppet, only her beautiful eyes able to move slightly, revealing a hint of despair.
Screams echoed in the distance.
The middle-aged woman was stabbed in the heart by a masked man, who then chopped off her head. The head rolled five or six meters before the headless corpse collapsed with a thud. Although she couldn't move her body at all, the girl seemed to hear something. Her lips moved slightly, but no sound came out, and tears began to slide down her beautiful eyes.
The opponent is simply too powerful!
They had absolutely no ability to resist; mortals are so powerless when faced with Legendary.
"Kill everyone else."
The Spellcaster, clad in a black cloak, glanced at the girl before him and coldly said, "Take her away!"
More than a dozen masked men appeared nearby. Some of them removed their black veils, revealing hideous faces covered in scars. These men glanced coldly around, and then two of them reached out to grab the girl in front of them. But the moment they touched the girl, the surrounding snow suddenly began to swirl, and in an instant, a woman who looked extremely similar to her—almost identical in appearance except for her hair color—appeared.
She descended like Queen, her figure eerily suspended twenty centimeters in the air, raising her hand to point forward.
--"Finger of Ice!"
The two masked men near Princess Anna froze instantly, a chill spreading from their hearts. In the blink of an eye, it covered them completely, turning them into two Ice Golem standing upright in place.
"Elder Sister!?"
The pretty girl seemed to have broken free of the Spell. With a sob, she rushed towards the woman before her, but passed right through her body. The woman, suspended in mid-air, blurred for a moment. Snowflakes could be seen swirling around her before reforming her body, which now stared sternly at the Chosen who Maiden of Pain.
"Anna." The Princess, exuding a sharp and imposing aura, didn't turn around but said in a deep voice, "Leave here immediately. I'll be back for you soon."
"Run!"
The entity that appeared was not its true form, but an Avatar made of ice and snow.
The pretty girl seemed to realize this as well, gritted her teeth and fled forward. The masked men around her immediately gave chase, but they had barely made a move when a patch of azure ice spread across the ground. These followers of the Goddess of Torment, whose strength was roughly at the third rank, were instantly frozen into Ice Golem.
They had long since lost all trace of Hit Points!
"Tsk tsk." The Chosen Maiden of Pain clapped his hands lightly, his eyes filled with surprise and amusement. "No wonder she's the legendary Princess of Arendelle!"
"The most powerful Fatespinner in history!"
"To think that a mere Snow and Ice Avatar could possess abilities approaching those of Legendary Sorcerer, no wonder the Winter Maiden sent me to deal with this little girl."
"So."
"You should be feeling it now! Somewhere in Arendelle, the power of winter is spreading!"
The Princess's expression changed slightly, and she raised her hand, unleashing a wave of ice. The surrounding snow and ice descended like a storm, transforming into countless ice blades that enveloped the entire surrounding space. The opponent didn't even have a chance to Dodge; even teleportation Spell couldn't avoid it as they were engulfed by the overwhelming icy blades.
Ding ding ding!
An invisible Energy Shield appeared, blocking tens of millions of icy blades. The ground was covered with countless marks, the blades cutting the area within a radius of over a hundred meters into a riddled mess.
The Chosen Maiden of Pain slowly removed her cloak, revealing a bewitching face with a scar on her cheek. Her skin was dark, and her pupils were blood red. She was instantly recognizable as Drow from the Underdark. As the Chosen Goddess of Torment, she seemed unfazed by this level of attack, merely glancing at the fleeing girl before slowly saying, "How many more times can you cast Spell like this? If you continue to stay here, Arendelle will soon become a dead city!"
I'm very curious.
"Will you choose to save your sister, or will you choose to save the millions of Commoner in Arendelle?"
Arendelle.
This is the most prosperous kingdom in the Land of Ice and Snow. Its advantageous geographical location near the sea attracts countless caravans. The endless stream of ships does not stop even in the dead of winter. In the distance on the horizon, a girl dressed in a white veil slowly emerges. The sea she steps on freezes into ice, her long silver hair dances in the wind, and the places she walks are shrouded in fierce snow.
The ice is spreading at an alarming rate!
The entire sea near the port of Arendelle was frozen solid, and the busy dockworkers were frozen in place before being covered by ice and frozen into Ice Golem.
The girl stared blankly ahead, and when she stepped onto the dock, she looked up at the top of Arendelle's castle.
The top of the castle.
A woman who looked almost exactly like Princess Anna, but with the same silver hair, stood in the wind and snow. Before her was a mirror made of ice, reflecting the eerily smiling Drow. (To be continued~^~)
