Adamantite Golem
Oops!
Soren's eye twitched, and almost immediately he pulled Vivian back, handing her the wine jug and saying in a deep voice, "Summon that Wraith back, let's retreat and get out of here first."
Adamantite Golem.
And two of them appeared at once, indicating that the defense mechanism here was beyond Soren's expectations. The Adamantite Golem, normally considered the Wizard Tower's top fighter, was the first tool sent out here. Keep in mind that any Adamantite Golem is a Legendary Construct and one of the most difficult Puppet Golem to deal with.
Just how difficult are they to deal with?
A glance at the statistics in Soren's memory will reveal some clues:
"Adamantite Golem [Puppet Golem] (Tier 5)."
"Challenge Rating 16, Construct Level 21, possesses Spell-like Ability."
"Highest attribute: 25 points; lowest attribute: 10 points; total attribute value: 90-100 points."
Special Feat: Crushing Damage, Damage Reduction, Spell Resistance, and Poison Gas Attack.
"Resistance statistics: Acid Resistance 100 points, Cold Resistance 100 points, Lightning Resistance 100 points, Fire Resistance 125 points."
Bludgeoning Resistance 90 points, Piercing Resistance 90 points, Slashing Resistance 90 points, Ranged Resistance 90 points.
Magic Resistance 100 points.
"Damage Immunity: Immunity to Ordinary Weapons attacks, immune to +1 Supernatural Weapon attacks, immune to +2 Supernatural Weapon attacks, Immunity to Poison Attacks, Immunity to Backstab Attacks."
Difficulty level: a++.
Adamantite Golem.
The most difficult Golem to deal with under normal circumstances possess around 90 points of physical resistance, making them immune to most physical attacks below 90 points. They also have over 100 points of resistance to cold, acid, lightning, and fire, and 100 points of Magic Resistance. Simply put, any elemental damage below 100 points and any Spell damage below 100 points will have absolutely no effect on them.
They can't break through their defenses at all!
These are near-the highest-level Puppet Golem, which can only be created by Legendary Wizard, and are extremely valuable because the core material used to create them is Diamond.
This is what is commonly known as diamond, or what we often refer to as the original form of Diamond!
That's right.
This is Puppet Golem made using Diamond as its core material; only the wealthiest Legendary Wizard could create it.
Damn it.
That's why Soren ran away as soon as he saw them!
Given his current strength, even a full-force strike would barely break through their defenses. Imagine trying to cleave Diamond with a sword, and you'll understand the sheer powerlessness he feels. These were the very creatures that had baffled many Rogue in the past, who could only try to wear them down by utilizing the terrain. But now, he certainly couldn't rely on the terrain, as the surroundings were quite open, and it seemed there was more than one enemy.
Soren grabbed Vivian and ran!
The little girl held the wine jug and uttered a Abyssal. Then, the seemingly dazed souls in the room vanished, and a faint Spell Aura appeared on the wine jug. Heavy footsteps sounded behind them, and two Adamantite Golem weighing over a ton stepped out. Without even glancing at them, Soren could guess that their strength exceeded 25 points. Conservatively, three of their attributes reached over 20 points.
Don't assume that Puppet Golem are clumsy and slow.
When you see the Adamantite Golem, you'll find it runs faster than you!
"Haste!"
Vivian clearly realized this as well, raising her hand to cast a Haste, then continuing to cast, "Grease!"
A greasy liquid suddenly covered the ground.
This didn't have any obvious effect. At first, it slightly affected their balance, but then it became completely useless.
"Walk!"
Soren scooped Vivian's petite body up in his arms, then said in a deep voice, "Transmute Rock to Mud will work on them."
Do not confront the Adamantite Golem.
With their current strength, they have almost no chance of winning. You should know that Goria's Wizard Tower only produced a batch of Steel Golem. In terms of strength Steel Golem are no match for the Adamantite Golem. Any one of the Adamantite Golem in front of them could easily dismantle all the Steel Golem that Goria created into pieces of scrap metal.
The only way to deal with these near-top-tier Puppet Golem is through clever tactics; a direct confrontation is absolutely out of the question!
"Rush!"
The Adamantite Golem slowed down slightly as the ground beneath their feet suddenly turned into a mud pit, causing their legs to sink in first, but they quickly climbed out. Soren had already traveled quite a distance when a mist appeared before him. He suddenly stopped, closed his eyes, and thought for a moment before charging straight into it.
One step, two steps, three steps!
Soren's brain was like a high-speed supercomputer. What he saw before him was no longer just mist, rubble, and enemies, but a series of images like photographs. The images were of the scene when the Wraith led them through the edge of the Mythal. Everything he saw was imprinted in Soren's brain like a high-speed camera, and with the help of his Feat [Eidetic Memory], [Eidetic Memory], and [Loremaster], it was all extracted in this instant.
This was an extremely dangerous moment!
Although it seemed quite ordinary, Soren was moving through the mist, slowly making his way out.
But in reality, if he makes a single wrong step, he could trigger the [Mythal]'s defense mechanism and be trapped inside the formation. Then, the two Adamantite Golem behind him would catch up. Whether they could ultimately win, and what they would face after barely defeating the two Adamantite Golem, were things Soren couldn't predict.
Fortunately, none of this happened!
Everything in Soren's temporary memories was extracted at the crucial moment. Even though he had only gone through it once, he remembered the route perfectly and successfully crossed the edge of the Mythal without triggering any defense mechanisms.
The heavy footsteps faded into the distance.
When Soren returned to the location of the original house, a glint flashed in the eyes of the two Adamantite Golem, and they turned and headed back towards the side door.
The target has been driven out!
Their defensive perimeter was near the side gate, and Tower Spirit 7 did not give them any orders to pursue and kill.
Everything gradually calmed down.
Soren cradled Vivian's petite body, catching his breath before setting her down. He turned to look at the Wizard Tower behind them, then gently stroked the little girl's head, saying softly, "Let's go. Let's leave this place."
"This is not a place we can explore right now!"
