Background

Tang Jie was formerly an ordinary university student before transmigrating into a world of martial artists, demons, and immortal cultivators. He initially sought to become True Person Heyun's disciple, but lacked spiritual roots and was rejected from immortal cultivation. Rather than accept a mundane life, he chose martial arts under the guidance of his father, Tang Tianhao. That decision awakened a mysterious status panel that rewarded martial breakthroughs with Potential Points, rapidly improving his aptitude. 1 2

Tang Tianhao taught him the Boyhood Art and later the Iron Cutting Saber Art. Tang Jie's identity was exposed when he stormed Lingyue City's execution ground to rescue Tang Tianhao. He broke through the soldiers' defenses and defeated the Qi Refining cultivator Miss Yun with flying knives, establishing that his martial arts could threaten immortal cultivators. 28 40
