Background

Tang Tianhao was an abandoned orphan raised by the old abbot of Qingshan Temple. He learned Buddhist martial arts there, including the Boyhood Art, but longed for life beyond the temple and often slipped down the mountain. After his master died, he left Qingshan Temple and eventually entered the martial world. 24 33

He joined the Six Peaks Gang after its leader recognized his martial skill. Tang Tianhao earned the leader's confidence and became the gang's vice-leader, unaware that the leader was a demon in human guise. 24

Tang Tianhao later had a son, Tang Jie, with Yun Meng. Yun Meng left Tang Jie in his care, and Tang Tianhao raised the boy alone while concealing his gang ties. He taught Tang Jie to value integrity and personally instructed him in the Iron Cutting Saber Art. 3 24

Appearance

Tang Tianhao is a middle-aged man. At his execution, he appeared bound, disheveled, and calm despite the crowd surrounding him. 24

Personality

Tang Tianhao is remorseful and deeply devoted to Tang Jie. While awaiting execution, he regretted never saying goodbye to his son and believed Tang Jie was the person he had failed most in life. 24

He is protective rather than self-preserving. Upon learning that the Bull Demon King was Tang Jie, he urged his son to flee rather than risk death attempting a rescue. 40 Although concerned that Tang Jie spread himself too thin by pursuing further martial arts, he ultimately supported his son's decision to learn the Golden Bell Shield. 35
