As Ning Qi’s reputation spread, Chu Xiaotian challenged him to a battle, but Ning Qi focused on exploring tombs and left the challenge unanswered.

• Ning Qi’s arrival frightened Fu Chen into fleeing, and Ning Qi healed Wu Qingxiao before leading the group into the Giant's Tomb.
• Ning Qi guided the others through the tomb, exposed and killed the Ghost Ghoul, and claimed the Jade Burial Suit, treasures, pills, cultivation technique, and three Rule Jades.

Inside the Heavenly Palace, Ning Qi quickly broke the Bull Demon Upper Sect’s formation and agreed to travel with Niu Man’s group, who swore to seek their sect’s support against the Northern Profound Upper Sect.

• Ning Qi used a Nascent Soul fishing line to turn Chu Xiaotian’s Soul Piercing Needle against him, then crushed Chu Xiaotian with a Five-Colored Divine Palm as he tried to break into the Void Dao Realm.

• Ren Zong killed two Rogue Cultivators, and Wu Dao killed another, forcing the remaining Rogue Cultivators and small-sect disciples out of the hall.

• Ren Zong attacked Ning Qi with a Nebulous Streamer Arrow, but Ning Qi destroyed it with a palm strike and closed in on him and Wu Dao.
• Wu Dao tried to trap Ning Qi in his Chain Array, but Ning Qi saw through and shattered it before turning the Golden Treasure Hall’s statues and treasures into a formation around the two men.

As the Ye Family was bound and the sect’s loyalties shifted toward Ning Qi, Sword Ancestor Jian Jingjue emerged from seclusion and learned what had happened.

• Ye Duanjiang accused Ning Qi of being an impostor and ordered Ye Family disciples to attack, but Ning Qi’s Green Sword shattered their combined strike.
