The Heroic Spirits Could Fight Too?
Something's not right, something's very wrong.
The heroic spirits that responded to the dragon's summons didn't seem right at all.
Beast-Ear Girl, human generals, Barbarians warriors who have long since disappeared into the annals of history, human female mages wearing mage hats, and Queen sitting on thrones.
The heroic spirits of the orcs would likely not recognize a dragon with a human identity.
Heroic spirits of the General type generally only respond to summoners who have royal blood flowing through their veins.
Barbarians warriors, as heroic spirits, prefer summoners who are brave and skilled in battle.
It's normal for the female mage heroine to respond to Lance's summons. It's also understandable that a heroine who wants to fall in love with the summoner would want to try to fall in love with the evil Lance after seeing his human form.
The Queen sitting on the throne responding to the dragon's call is abnormal; the inner voices of the Queen's spirit as it descends seem to be searching for a general who died loyally for her.
The Queen's spirit seems to have mistaken the dragon for a descendant of that general.
Did the dragon, disguised as a human, even serve as a general in the human world?
The young dragon thought for a moment, but couldn't remember.
The golden lights and shadows appearing on the Golden Array are likely projections of the heroic spirits from the Hall of Heroes. They were probably drawn here by the dragon's summons. Whether they will answer the dragon's call and leave the Temple of Heroes to fight for him in the human world is hard to say.
Speaking of which, didn't the evil dragon summon the beautiful Elder Sister Sophia? Of the five Heroic Spirits, only the human female mage seems somewhat like Sophia.
During this period, several golden lights briefly appeared on the Golden Array Golden Array, stayed there for a short while, and then disappeared.
This situation likely stems from the fact that the heroic spirits did not choose the dragon as their summoner.
The young dragon covered her face with her claws; the heroic spirits on the Golden Array seemed to have glanced in her direction.
Can the heroic spirit's projection on the array also see her?
"I can't see her, I can't see her. Go back, there's no need to come down. You are not the heroic spirits I want to summon."
The young dragon, covering its face with its claws, heard the evil dragon's voice and lowered one of its claws.
The Golden Array of the Beast-Ear Girl on the golden array placed her hand to her lips, gave the evil dragon a flying kiss, and then vanished in golden light.
The general, clad in tattered armor, glanced at Lance before vanishing in a speck of light.
The Barbarians warrior's spirit projection grinned at Lance, then shouldered its warhammer and walked away.
The female monk sighed and left.
The Queen spirit sitting on the throne suddenly became dazzling with golden light, until the dazzling golden light dissipated.
A real Queen dressed in Fire-red Robe appeared on the Golden Array, and even the throne of the Queen's heroic spirit materialized.
With fiery red hair and eyes, the Queen's spirit was like a burning flame. Holding a heavy book, she rose from her throne and walked barefoot down the Golden Array, appearing opposite the evil dragon.
"Child, you must be a descendant of the general who fought for me until his last drop of blood, refused the rebels' offer to surrender, and disappeared in the flames. You look a lot like him."
Young General, your ancestors died loyally for me. To repay their kindness, I am willing to become your guardian spirit.
"So, Young General, answer me, are you willing to have a romantic relationship with me?"
The young dragon, who was still moved, was stunned when it heard the Queen's last words. This... this is not right.
If the Queen wants to date, shouldn't she look for the [Young General's ] ancestors? What's the deal with dating the [Young General]?
Would the dragon agree?! Not only did the dragon not agree, it also punched the barefoot Queen Spirit with a dark expression.
This scene once again left the young dragon speechless.
Lawless!
This is outrageous! This evil dragon even dares to beat up the Queen's heroic spirit! It's simply too arrogant and outrageous!
"Speak properly, you bastard! Why do you always have to come and join in every time I summon a Heroic Spirit? Joining in is one thing, but can you please stop making up these third-rate melodramatic scenes for yourself every time you appear?"
Last time you appeared, you were a female general who bled to the last drop to protect the prince. The time before that, you were the Queen of the kingdom, who set herself on fire to protect the kingdom and your people. I mean, so many years have passed, can't your ability to create stories have improved a little? Can you please stop constantly being a princess or a general? Be a hero this time? Be a legendary heroine who turns the tide, or if all else fails, be a legendary dragon.
If you imagined yourself to be even slightly more powerful, you wouldn't have to be so cool for only three seconds before yelling, "Lance, save me!"
Lance looked at the Heroic Spirit before him, furious at its lack of ambition. This was the same weak and playful Heroic Spirit who had always answered his summons.
Every time he summoned a Heroic Spirit before, it was always her who appeared, stunning him time and time again, only to leave him utterly dumbfounded. Fantasy Heroic Spirit.
Lance only realized that the Hall of Heroes contained such heroic spirits after summoning this guy down from the Hall of Heroes.
The battle relies on imagination.
Once his illusions were exposed, he instantly became a complete weakling.
Logically speaking, such a rare combat skill, even if not very strong, shouldn't be very weak.
However, the guy who possesses this [Fantasy] combat skill always manages to look incredibly cool and powerful every time he appears.
Then the battle began, Lance!
Help me!
After several encounters, he discovered that the combat skill [Illusion] was meant to make the opponent believe that he had truly been pulled into an [Otherworldly Space].
In other words, the more realistic the imagined story is, the stronger the fighting power of the guy in front of you will be.
But this guy in front of me only seems to fantasize about stories related to the Queen.
Wouldn't it be great to imagine yourself as a legendary Epic Hero? Wouldn't it be great to imagine yourself as an invincible Valkyrie?
It's urgent!
He was so anxious that he even considered adapting some of the mythological stories from his past life and telling them to her so she could imagine the battle.
After thinking about it, he felt it wasn't necessary. If the Heroic Spirit couldn't win, he could just go and fight; it wasn't like he really needed the Heroic Spirit to help him.
"Ouch! I'm a Heroic Spirit, for goodness' sake. Can't you, a mere Extraordinary Person, at least show me a little respect?"
"Have you ever seen a summoner's hero shout 'Help me!' three seconds after appearing on screen?"
"I am no longer the king I once was. If you don't believe me, summon me during the next battle, and the fighting power I conjure up will surely surprise you!"
"Will I summon you for the next battle?"
"Yes, I will never again utter those words that I find so humiliating!"
"Alright, alright, I'll summon you tomorrow. I hope your fighting prowess won't disappoint me."
"No need for tomorrow, tonight is fine. Go find an opponent and let me take care of him for you."
The Queen's mysterious confidence amused Lance.
Okay, okay, I'll grant her request tomorrow.
Let Squid Girl witness the power of the Queen Heroic Spirit.
P. S.: Thank you to Luya Laoge for the 500 points.
