Lin Heng awakened the King Path, confronted the Calamity, and died to fulfill his Peach Blossom Calamity before Xiao Muyu revived his consciousness in the Underworld. His allies investigated the resurrected and the forces behind them as Dugu Yueli left to face a crisis in the Demon Domain and Jiang Wu vowed to capture Lin Heng.

Arc 73The Shadow Alliance’s Defeat

Lin Heng escaped the Shadow Alliance’s sacrifice plot as Jiang Jingyi and her allies defeated the rebels, then faced conflict over his relationship with Dugu Yueli and Jiang Zhenqing’s fate. The arc ended with Jiang Zhenqing accepting a role in Jiang Jingyi’s plans while Lin Heng remained bound and boasting about his place at her side.

  • Long Da revealed the plan to revive both the Medical Ancestor and the Martial Ancestor, while Jiang Jingyi broke through the fortress defenses and Murong Ziyan gathered reinforcements.

Arc 74The King Path Awakens

After overcoming Long Yun with the awakened King Path, Lin Heng ordered the occupying forces to withdraw, while Xiao Muyu warned Jiang Jingyi that she must kill Lin Heng to escape her karmic backlash.

  • Jiang Jingyi sealed Lin Heng, who then told Sun Hao that he was the true Bai Zihe and sent him to investigate the Bai Clan’s ancestral land in the Northern Domain.

After surviving a devastating attack, he learned that his delayed Mortal Tribulation could bring a death omen, and the women around him set out to fulfill it themselves.
