• Jiang Jingyi appointed Jiang Yan to command the Garrison Command and decided to assess Lin Heng at the Heavenly Xuan Tournament, while Lin Heng’s yin force surged and Saint Ye taught him the Kun Peng Nirvana Art.

Lin Heng balanced his tangled relationships at Ten Directions Hall with a trip to Beginningless City, where he pursued a deadly Water Spirit. After refining it to complete his Water Element Body, he defeated the Dust Sect disciples but was confronted by Ye Tian.

• Lin Heng fought Dugu Aotian and several disciples, then joined the others as Meng Yutong praised his performance.
• Saint Ye passed Dao arts to Yun Yao, Mu Liuxi, and Leng Qingyun, while Lin Heng and Meng Yutong negotiated secrecy about their relationship and shared a kiss.
• Leng Qingqiu and Leng Qingyun reconciled over their past, then joined Lin Heng as they eased their distance and helped with recruitment.

Lin Heng survived Ye Tian’s attack and returned to Ten Directions Hall, where Dugu Zhengyuan set a secret-realm trial to assess him and the Dugu juniors. Inside, Lin Heng disguised himself, manipulated rival factions, and provoked escalating disputes as he pursued the rewards.

• Lin Heng accused Ye Tian of plotting against Yun Yao, the Mu Family, and Meng Yutong, then fought him until Dugu Feng intervened and Hua Qi helped Ye Tian escape.
• After recovering, Lin Heng told Meng Yutong that Hua Qi came from the Upper Realm and wanted Ye Tian to open the Starry Sky Ancient Road, while Ye Tian sought support from the Ye Family.
• Dugu Zhengyuan challenged Lin Heng’s place in the Dugu Clan, but Meng Yutong demanded that all the juniors face the secret-realm trial together.

Meanwhile, Jiang Caiyan’s Blood Moon Cult celebrated away from him, Ye Tian plotted against Lin Heng, and the arc ended with Lin Heng and Mu Liuxi sharing a tender moment.

• Lin Heng impersonated Dugu Wenxiong and stirred up conflict among the Dugu Clan, then commissioned Xiao Sheng to forge the no-grade, no-rank sword Nine Heavens.
• Dugu Qiusheng and the Dugu juniors ambushed Lin Heng, but Dugu Nan joined the fight after believing Lin Heng’s claim that Qiusheng was an impostor, and Lin Heng escaped the secret realm.
• Saint Ye revealed to Meng Yutong that he came from the Upper Realm and gave her the Yin-Yang Harmony Art, which she later studied as a possible aid to Lin Heng.
• Dugu Zhengyuan took Lin Heng to the Treasure Vault, where Lin Heng pocketed Spirit Stones and received rare Five Elements resources and twelve jeweled hairpins for his Dao companions.
