Lin Heng sacrificed decades of his lifespan to reopen the entrance, Jiang Yan rescued the survivors, and Lin Heng awoke weakened as Meng Yutong began recovering.

• Leng Qingqiu and Duan Shuyun tried to keep Leng Qingyun from becoming Lin Heng’s Dao companion, but Lin Heng comforted Leng Qingyun and she agreed to stay with him.
• Lin Heng admitted to Leng Qingyun that all four senior sisters were his Dao companions, while Leng Qingqiu repaired her umbrella and later asked Lin Heng to spend time with her as a Dao companion.
