• Lin Heng entered Crimson Roc’s tomb, learned the Supreme Bone Sword had been forged from Lin Ziqing’s blood and spine, and took the sword using his Five Elements power.
• Lin Heng escaped Immortal Cloud Ancient City by digging under its Barrier, then passed the Literary Path restriction in Guangming Ancient Tower with a poem and met the Silent Chess Immortal.
• The Silent Chess Immortal told Lin Heng to give the Bone Sword to the future Demon King and keep the Literary Path artifacts hidden until the great tribulation, and Lin Heng found treasures on the tower’s seventh floor.

• Dugu Feng defended Lin Heng at Heavenly Prosperity Hall, but Murong Ziyan seized him under the Female Emperor’s orders and took him to the Harsh Punishment Office.
• Jiang Jingyi arranged for Jiang Yan to free Lin Heng and let him carry the Supreme Bone Sword north, while rumors claimed the Dugu Family had secured his release.

As Dugu Zixuan learned of his supposed death and confronted Green Pavilion Sect, Lin Heng searched for Jiang Caiyan and learned she had been taken during an attack on the Zhou Family.

• Lin Heng found the Nine Heavens Sword’s Sword Spirit, named her Lin Yu, and was rescued from the collapsed cave by Duan Shuyun and Xiao Lan.
• Lin Heng told Duan Shuyun and his senior sisters that he had faked his death, then reunited with Zhao Wanqing and Meng Yutong while keeping his survival from Uncle Prison and Aunt.

Lin Heng entered the Immortal Wheel Secret Realm to pursue the Azure Clan and search for his captured Dao companion, while Jiang Caiyan inherited her mother’s legacy and secretly reunited with him. The arc ended with Lin Heng and Martial Man confronting the Azure Clan after its members threatened to capture Jiang Caiyan.

• Lin Heng confronted the Zhou Family over the seized women, killed Zhou Min after discovering his dealings with the Azure Clan, and learned that the captives had been sent toward Forest City.
• Jiang Caiyan learned that Crippled Granny was her grandmother and that her mother, Yu Han'er, had built factions across the Northern Continent and created the Blood Wheel Art.
• Jiang Caiyan inherited the Silver Moon Ring and planned to use her mother’s Forbidden Curse against the Azure Clan, while Lin Heng allied with the Martial Dao and prepared to enter the secret realm.
• At the Immortal Wheel Secret Realm, Lin Heng met a disguised Jiang Caiyan, who pretended to seek a captured younger brother while testing his resolve to find his Dao companion.
