• Lin Heng reunited with Jiang Caiyan, who rejected his claims about their past before agreeing to help him oppose the Azure Clan and kissing him goodbye.

He uncovered Yu Hai’s double identity and learned that Yi Pavilion’s mysterious Pavilion Master had been targeting him since his arrival in the Northern Continent.

• Lin Heng left Carefree Holy Land with Su Qiubai and Xiao Lan, then evaded Su Moxie and Dugu Zixuan by claiming a life-and-death contract with Su Qiubai.
• Dugu Zixuan mistook Lin Heng for Ye Tian in the Justice Bureau dungeon, recognized him as her son, and secretly kept her identity from him while treating his injuries.

The arc ended with Dugu Zixuan and Meng Yutong unable to find Lin Zhique beneath the Main Peak, while Lin Heng returned to Swallow Cloud City with Zhao Wanqing and Leng Qingyun.
