Inheritance of the Earldom
In the Wizard World, the assessment of the apprentice level in magic is as follows:
The Entry-Level Apprentice's Mental Strength is 10;
Low-level apprentices Mental Strength of 10-30.
Intermediate Apprentice: Mental Strength 30-50;
Advanced Apprentice: Mental Strength 50-70;
Quasi-Magician Mental Strength of 70-90.
As for the Mental Strength values of Formal-Ranked Magician, it is estimated that they have reached over 100 points.
The level of Mental Strength is absolutely not the standard for judging the strength of a magic apprentice.
Knowledge is the sole measure of the power of two Mage.
With the magical and elemental knowledge possessed by Formal Magician, even a newly promoted Level-1 Magician could easily subdue and kill three Quasi-Magician.
Besides the difference in knowledge, over the years, through his studies in the library, Saine has also learned that one of the most significant differences between Formal Magician and apprentices is that Formal Magician no longer confine themselves to simply manipulating the Magic Power within their bodies when casting spells.
With less Mental Strength, one can mobilize the Element Power of the entire natural world and even Alien Plane.
This is another manifestation of the power of the Formal-Ranked Magician!
No wonder the minimum requirement for participating in the Plane War in the Wizard World is that Knight and Mage must reach a Life Level of one or higher.
It is likely that only Life Level at the first level or above can adapt to the harsher environment of the Alien Plane, and it is also related to the fact that the strength of beings at the first level or above has undergone a qualitative change compared to beings below the first level.
In their wars of conquest, the Wizard Civilization does not need low-ranking Knight or Magician Legion as cannon fodder.
Their cannon fodder is composed of other organisms.
Whether it's the slave creature legions raised by the various Holy Tower and Knights' Hall themselves, or the Alien Plane creature legions that have joined the Wizard Alliance and become dependent on the Wizard Civilization, they are all high-quality cannon fodder in the war.
At just over thirty years old, Saine has already reached the level of Quasi-Magician, which is definitely rare even in the Azure Source Holy Tower.
Based solely on his age and qualifications, there is at least a 60% chance that he will be promoted to Formal Magician in the future.
This is an extremely high number.
After saying goodbye to Green at the library, Saine carried the newly rented Magic Books, "The Atlas of Light," and headed towards his residence.
For the past five years, Saine has not changed his residence.
Thinking back to when I first came to the Azure Source Holy Tower Academy,
He also considered buying a maid to clean his room and take care of his daily life.
However, this idea gradually faded as Saine immersed himself in an increasingly fulfilling and busy academic life.
Saine is not the kind of person who needs to enjoy the services of others.
As for the fact that he had ten young maids serving him at the Earl's Castle... this can only be attributed to Earl Grant's concern for him and his hope that Saine could leave behind one or two Bloodline.
To be honest, Saine is not young anymore.
For the past five years, Saine has maintained a correspondence frequency of about once every six months with Earl Grant.
Sometimes the Earl Grant would reply, and sometimes he wouldn't.
The main expense was the Magic Letter containing a High-Level Energy Crystal, which was a painful sum for Earl Grant.
Unless there's something particularly urgent, Earl Grant usually wouldn't waste this money.
Saine's younger brother, Solon, got married three years ago and had a son two years ago.
This was told to him by Earl Grant in a reply. Even after Solon had an heir, Earl Grant briefly discussed with Saine the issue of the succession of the earldom.
At the time, Solon was 20 years old when he got married, which was neither early nor late among the nobility.
However, a year later he had a son. This kid is really good at carrying on the family line.
In his reply to his nephew, whom he had yet to meet, Earl Grant included a magical impression sketch of a chubby little boy.
Saine was not interested in the title of Earl, although given Earl Grant's current physical condition and age, he was far from being able to pass the title on to him and Solon.
However, the first in line of succession should indeed be selected.
In his reply, the Earl stated that Saine remained the first in line to the throne.
However, in his reply, Saine expressed his attitude and his determination to explore the Arcane Truth of magic in the future.
He and Earl Grant both tacitly agreed that the future earldom would most likely be passed on to Solon.
Although Solon's talent for training is not bad, it is obviously not as outstanding as that of his Laozi Earl Grant, when he was young.
Earl Grant, who already Quasi-Knight, has a 50-60% chance of advancing to become Level 1 Knight in the future.
However, given Solon's current potential and situation, becoming Advanced Squire or Quasi-Knight is probably his limit.
Furthermore, by the time Solon reaches the level of Quasi-Knight, he will likely be quite old, which will essentially eliminate any possibility of him reaching the first rank.
Compared to the lifespan of hundreds or thousands of years for a first-level creature, the theoretical lifespan of an ordinary Knight Attendant is far too short, lasting only a few decades or a hundred years.
It wouldn't be unreasonable to pass this title to Solon.
In fact, in the secular world of the Wizard World, those who inherit noble titles are ordinary people below the first rank.
Once someone has advanced to level one or higher, whether they are Knight or Mage, what interest would they have in developing their territory or caring about the lives and reproduction of ordinary people within it?
The boundless Star Realm, countless planes, and endless unknowns and riches are the directions they explore.
This is why it is said that beings of level one and above in the Wizard World have actually become clearly separated from beings of level one and below.
Differences in values, outlook on life, and perspectives have essentially divided the Wizard World into two societies.
Saine currently hopes to squeeze into and join is the society inhabited by beings of level one and above.
The noble titles of the secular class held no appeal for him whatsoever.
Just as he wouldn't fall in love with ordinary maids when he was in the Earl's Castle.
As I returned to my residence, a black raven perched on the railing in front of the gate of Saine.
At the same time, Owl Little Qi flew out of Saine's Space Flute.
The moment Little Seven appeared, the black crow's body trembled, and its head lowered slightly.
This black raven is the academy's Magic Messenger.
"Is there a letter for me?" Saine asked.
"Caw caw." The black crow cawed, and then it spat out an envelope containing a faint Element Power from its belly.
Carrying letters in their stomachs is one of the distinctive features of this black crow.
No wonder these low-level magical beasts were trained by the Holy Tower to be messengers.
As for the faint Element Power on the surface of the envelope, besides ensuring that the letter is not damaged during transportation, another function of that Element Power is to reassure the recipient that his letter is confidential and has not been opened.
Because once the letter is opened, Element Power on the surface of the envelope will inevitably be lost.
When the recipient receives the letter, they can determine the confidentiality of their letter simply by observing whether the faint Element Power on the surface of the envelope is abundant.
