Saine stayed in the college library for several more hours, until it was late at night before he left.

The Holy Tower Academy was quite quiet at night.

Many magic apprentices actually maintain a normal routine of studying during the day and resting at night.

Recently, Saine's Mental Strength have been undergoing subtle changes at the cellular level.

Therefore, he always felt that he had exceptionally high energy levels.

Even in the dead of night, Saine showed no signs of being sleepy.

And this state has been going on for quite some time.

Perhaps this is another major difference between them and ordinary humans in the Wizard World as they are about to advance to the first level of Life Level.

When I got back to my place, the whole house was quiet.

His Cousin Serena should already be resting. Saine glanced at Serena's closed door, then quietly used his Levitation Spell to fly up to the second floor.

After entering the laboratory and closing the door, Saine breathed a sigh of relief.

The laboratory is well soundproofed, so Saine can do whatever he wants with it, as long as no explosion occurs.

A large amount of experimental materials and resources, just obtained from the Exchange Hall, were carefully sorted and placed into designated areas by Saine.

Saine is an organized person, although Saine can sometimes become a bit sloppy when he gets deep into an experiment.

No matter how far the experiment progressed, or how messy the laboratory looked, he could find all the items and equipment he had put away in an instant.

After putting away all the magical materials, just as Saine was considering whether to brush up on alchemy, he happened to glance at the World Boundary Stone he had just obtained from the Exchange Hall.

"Cross-dimensional communication and transactions? That's quite a novel approach."

"I wonder which dimension's beings we'll eventually be able to contact?" Saine pondered, stroking his chin.

Using his teleportation technique, he obtained the World Boundary Stone World Boundary Stone, and at the same time, a booklet explaining how to use it appeared in Saine other hand.

The requirements for the user of the World Boundary Stone are extremely low. Even a magic apprentice like Saine, who has not yet fully advanced to the next level, can use it with the help of the corresponding magic Formation Diagram.

However, it remains unknown which Alien Plane beings the World Boundary Stone will ultimately communicate with.

According to the brochure, the other party is likely a powerful Level-4 lifeform from a distant star system, or it could be a low-level Slime Monster with little intelligence.

This was purely a gamble for the Star Realm exploration and interstellar communication.

However, it is precisely because of this uncertainty that even though the World Boundary Stone has gradually been replaced by other mainstream space attribute ores, some Mage still like to try their luck with it.

And there have indeed been instances where communication was made with powerful beings in distant Alien Plane, but without any benefit was obtained. →

"Give it a try. It seems that some of the Space Power of this thing will be lost if it's left for too long," said Saine, looking at the unremarkable black stone in his hand.

They acted immediately upon hearing the word.

After placing the World Boundary Stone in the center of his laboratory, Saine took out some other auxiliary materials.

There are Energy Crystal, monster blood, and some special magical metals containing Element Power.

It took Saine most of the night to set up the summoning array for the Boundary World Boundary Stone.

After he finished Formation Diagram, he heard Serena gently knocking on the door, calling him downstairs for breakfast.

Despite having stayed up all night, Saine was still full of energy.

After indicating that he would not eat breakfast, Saine placed a level-two Earth Element Energy Crystal in the center of the Formation Diagram and attempted to activate it with his Mental Strength.

The reason for embedding the Level-2 Energy Crystal is that, according to the instruction manual, the higher the grade of the Energy Crystal used, the higher the level of the otherworldly creature that can be communicated with.

If Saine only uses low- and medium-grade Energy Crystal as his core energy source, he might eventually be able to connect with some low-level alien creatures, such as Slime Monster and kobolds.

As Saine activated the Formation Diagram with his Mental Strength, the entire array began to emit a faint Elemental Light.

A peculiar rumbling sound followed, and it seemed as if Saine's house was shaking.

Serena, who was downstairs, was also startled by the sudden turn of events.

However, considering what Saine just said, this cousin is probably engrossed in some kind of Experimental Research again.

The violent rumbling and elemental fluctuations made Saine's heart leap into his throat.

But this may prove the saying that the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment.

As the Magic Element Array continued to operate for more than two hours without any contact from otherworldly creatures, Saine's heart gradually calmed down.

Two and a half hours later, the level-two Earth Elemental Energy Crystal that was originally embedded in the center of the magic Formation Diagram completely exhausted all its energy and shattered in the middle with a "crack". Saine's mouth twitched slightly.

A Level-2 Energy Crystal was consumed just like that; even Formal Magician rarely spend money like this.

The fruitless situation did not discourage Saine; instead, it fueled his resentment.

Since he was already quite wealthy, even if he only managed to communicate with one Slime Monster in the end, Saine didn't want his hard work in the middle of the night to go to waste.

Another Level-2 Energy Crystal was embedded in the center of the Formation Diagram by Saine.

Reactivating the magic circle with his Mental Strength, Saine stared intently at the center of the magic circle.

It was until the afternoon.

Saine has already spent three Level-2 Energy Crystal on this summoning Formation Diagram.

In the Formation Diagram, the originally dark and unremarkable World Boundary Stone has now been transformed into a thumb-sized, crystal-blue stone under the influence of the surging and cleansing of elemental energy.

Saine discovered that the size of the World Boundary Stone was constantly melting and shrinking over time.

If this tiny, blue World Boundary Stone, only the size of a thumb, is also consumed, then his attempt to communicate with the otherworldly creature will have been in vain.

Looking at the level-two Earth Element Energy Crystal that had once again been drained of its energy, Saine frowned slightly and inserted the fourth one.

This should also be the last Energy Crystal that Saine spent on this magic Formation Diagram.

If it doesn't work out, Saine's nothing more to say.

However, in the future, Saine will most likely never believe in such luck-based magic Formation Diagram again.

Or perhaps, Saine's luck wasn't actually that good?

After the fourth Level-2 Energy Crystal was embedded into the magic Formation Diagram by Saine, the remaining World Boundary Stone, only the size of a thumb, continued to spin in mid-air.

Violent tremors and subtle magical ripples reappeared inside and outside the room.

Just when Saine had almost given up hope, a strange noise and an unfamiliar Willpower Voice finally appeared.

"Hmm? Which dimension's creature contacted me through Moon Pool Spring, the great lord of the Lava Mountain Range — Babakulu!" A deep, resonant Willpower Voice appeared in Saine's laboratory.
