Saine used the God of Machines to overwhelm the Withered-Realm Emperor Monarch while the Mechanical Civilization evacuated survivors from the Remnant Star Remnant Domain. Locke prevented Ebony from closing the passage, and Saine withdrew with the legions and collected materials after driving the injured Emperor Monarch away.
Saine resettled the rescued Lost World Alliance civilizations in the Primordial Universe Time-Space and established a rule covenant requiring them to trade resources and intelligence for Mechanical Civilization support. As the alliance began sharing Source-Devouring intelligence, an ancient member offered Saine the location of a hidden pasture and requested an in-person meeting.
Helan of the Star Tomb Civilization arrived at the Mechanical Civilization’s reception base with ancient archives and revealed the location of the Primal Source Pasture, where six exiled civilizations faced an approaching harvest. Saine agreed to rescue them under the Lost World Covenant, and the coordinates’ verification triggered a violent resonance from the captured Source-Devouring Mother Nest.
After the World-Realm Emperor Monarch revealed the Primal Source Pasture’s history and offered Saine a passage mark in exchange for experimental results, Saine agreed to investigate the site. The Mechanical Civilization, Destruction Divine Kingdom, and Lost World Alliance began preparing an expedition and rescue operation.
Saine led the Mechanical Civilization, the Destruction Divine Kingdom, and the Lost World Alliance into the Primal Source Pasture to rescue six exiled civilizations. As the fleets began evacuating survivors, the Ancestral Nest unleashed its forces, and the Pasture-Realm Ancient Emperor appeared, demanding to know why outsiders carried the World-Realm Emperor Monarch's mark.
The Mechanical Civilization and the Lost World Alliance fought back the Source-Devouring forces while Saine dismantled the Primal Source Pasture’s rule network. The Pasture-Realm Ancient Emperor was captured, the hidden worlds were evacuated, and Saine opened the deepest Seal of the Ancestral Nest, revealing an enormous ancient Rules Body.
Saine and the Mechanical Engineering Legion began extracting the Lord of Ancient Azure's remains from the Ancestral Nest, uncovering evidence that the Source-Devouring Progenitor had experimented with diverting Rule Authority. As the remains were prepared for transfer, the Lord of Ancient Azure opened his Rule Eye and recognized that Saine was not from the Source-Devouring Time-Space.
Saine and Helan confirmed that the Lord of Ancient Azure was dead, though a trace of will remained to ensure the civilizations of his time-space survived. After leaving his final legacy to the Ancient Azure Stone Steles, the Lord of Ancient Azure fell silent, and the Progenitor Source Seal triggered a surge of light throughout the Primal Source Pasture.
Saine preserved the Lord of Ancient Azure's last wisp of will and evacuated the Mechanical Fleet with the Primal Source Pasture's spoils as the Source-Devouring Progenitor confronted him. Kakarot charged the Progenitor's projected power to hold the front while Saine followed, and their forces collided in the pasture.
Kakarot and Saine held off the Source-Devouring Progenitor while the Mechanical Civilization evacuated the exiled civilizations and their spoils. As the Progenitor began preparing to descend in person, Saine ordered a withdrawal, but the Dimension-Rending Shuttle appeared ahead of the fleet and threatened its escape.
Saine and the Mechanical Fleet were trapped by the Rift-Splitting Emperor Monarch’s false passages while the Source-Devouring forces pursued them. With the Lord of Ancient Azure’s help, Saine found an original route and forced it open, leaving the fleet’s escape possible as Destruction Demon God Locke appeared beyond it.
Saine, Kakarot, and the evacuation fleet escaped the collapsing Primal Source Pasture with Locke’s help, bringing the rescued civilizations and valuable relics to Primordial Universe Time-Space. The Source-Devouring Progenitor then suspected the World-Realm Emperor Monarch had quietly helped make the evacuation possible, while the Emperor Monarch watched the still-open passage from afar.
After the six civilizations escaped the Primal Source Pasture, the Mechanical Civilization secured its spoils and began repairing its losses. Saine returned to Gear Time-Space, where he rested before studying the Lord of Ancient Azure’s remains, while the rescued civilizations began settling into new worlds.
The Source-Devouring Progenitor confronted the World-Realm Emperor Monarch over giving Saine a passage mark to the Primal Source Pasture, then ordered a purge of the Lost World Alliance. After warning Saine that the deal had been exposed, the World-Realm Emperor Monarch severed their secret connection.
Saine and his allies examined the Lord of Ancient Azure’s remains and recovered memories revealing how the Source-Devouring Progenitor’s failed attempts to divide his authority led to the Emperor Monarch system. After hundreds of years, the Ancient Azure Stone Steles revealed a map of pastures and Remnant Realm coordinates, but one coordinate suddenly went dark as its life signals vanished.
The Lost World Alliance established Ancient Azure Star Harbor as a permanent headquarters, where the Mechanical Civilization and its vassals helped the exiled civilizations rebuild their home. As the survivors restored their settlements and organized their forces, the Lord of Ancient Azure saw them gain a new home and fell dormant again.
Saine and the Lost World Alliance launched a major rescue operation for exiled civilizations while preparing Ancient Azure Star Harbor to receive vast numbers of survivors. The first two passageways held, but the World-Devouring Emperor Monarch appeared at the largest reception coordinate.
Saine’s God of Machines confronted the World-Devouring Emperor Monarch at the third passage while exiled civilizations continued evacuating from the Sunken Star Remnant Domain. The two rulers exchanged attacks, and as the passage’s defenses weakened, their legions began fighting around it.
The Mechanical Civilization and the exiled civilizations fought to protect survivors evacuating through the third reception passage, while screening migrants to prevent source-devouring marks from revealing the Primordial Universe Time-Space. As nearly half the fleet escaped, the World-Hunting Ancient Emperor arrived and immobilized several approaching survivor fleets.
