Saine joined Moxidu’s branch, survived bloody clashes, advanced to Intermediate Apprentice, and began assisting with the Fire Element Fission Generator. When Kaisersen attacked Moxidu’s laboratory to seize Saine, Moxidu drove him off and pursued him.

• Saine reached Mozhsuobula, became Moxidu’s fifth disciple, and received treatment and equipment from his new mentor.
• After Yierke attacked him, Saine killed him with Moxidu’s Strong Acid Scepter and claimed self-defense when academy authorities questioned him.
• Saine and Lina fought Qiao Ke’s group on Black Street, killing several apprentices before Vice-Dean Dadalong imprisoned them and Moxidu’s connection secured their release.
• Moxidu gave Saine magic texts and meditation instruction, while Saine grew closer to Lina and reunited with Baus during preparations for the Grade Assessment.
• Saine and Lina fought in the Grade Assessment, where Lina faced Death Hand Mike and Saine won a battle before advancing to Intermediate Apprentice.
• Moxidu put Saine to work in the laboratory, where he helped complete a Fire Element Fission Generator before a Water-type Brilliant Crystal exploded and injured Zorro.

Saine completed a dangerous mission, advanced in magic and alchemy, and entered a relationship with Fei'er while remaining bonded to Lina. Moxidu then revealed that the academy would send apprentices through the Time-Space Rift to prepare for exploration of another world.

• Dean Dadalong promised Moxidu rare materials to replace what Kaisersen had ruined, and Moxidu agreed to spare Kaisersen if compensation arrived within three days.
• Saine studied anatomy under Ke Suo Long, saved Tian Di’s specimen, and pursued lessons and research while preparing for his mandatory mission.
• Saine drove the Blue Jaw Feather flock from Gray White Valley with fire magic, but a Gray Dwarf ambushed him with a poisoned dagger, leaving him stranded and injured.
• Saine returned to the academy with valuable spoils, learned alchemy from Fei'er and Zorro, and moved with Lina into a larger dormitory home.
• Over three years, Saine completed missions and alchemy work, reached 38 Mental Strength, learned new spells from Lina, and made several Low-Level Magic Items.
• Fei'er asked Saine to visit her dormitory, and after Lina encouraged him to go, Saine began a sexual relationship with Fei'er while keeping his bond with Lina.
• Moxidu told Saine and Fei'er that apprentices would go through the Time-Space Rift to plant Coordinate Generators before the academy’s Different World exploration.
• Saine searched the Public Library for information about Alien Planes, then returned to his room while Lina remained away at Master Feilunna's experiment.

Saine prepared his group for an expedition through a Time-Space Rift, then was scattered across a deadly desert world with the other apprentices. After reuniting with Lina and reaching the camps, he faced a disastrous rescue attempt and fled toward the shattered passage as apprentices fought over Element Pearls.

• Saine prepared Lina, Meili, and Baus for the expedition, while Moxidu later gave Saine, Fei'er, and Zorro protective magic items before they left for Shadow Valley.
• Vice Dean Dadalong forced apprentices into the Magic Altar to test the unstable rift, and Saine eventually volunteered to enter after Lina and Fei'er had gone through.
• Moxidu warned Saine that the rift led to a harsh Broken Plane, and Saine crossed it before waking alone in the Yellow Sand World.
• After surviving the desert and fighting the desperate Stanson, Saine learned from Mali where the other apprentices were camped and headed toward them.
• Saine reunited with Fei'er, Zorro, and Lina, learned that months had passed for them, and helped prepare the camp while seeking the Element Mushroom cultivation process.
• The apprentices’ Coordinate Generator opened a channel toward the Underdark, but a pillar of fire and a hurricane caused heavy casualties and shattered the channel.
• Saine shielded Lina during the Holy Tower attack, then hurried toward the passage after Zorro told him to activate his Element Pearl to escape.
• Saine avoided the wounded Quasi-Magician Ke Luo Bo, but Huo Bi and two other Intermediate Apprentices confronted him and demanded his Element Pearls.

Saine survived the Yellow Sand World and returned to find the Underdark engulfed in war and destruction. After reuniting with Moxidu and witnessing his death, Saine carried his mentor’s ashes toward the Surface World, declining Midiqi’s offer to join Dawn Holy Tower.

• Saine escaped the Yellow Sand World after learning how to use the black handle near the buried Space Channel, then returned to a ruined Shadow Valley and found Mozhsuobula under attack.
• Saine reached the city, where civilians defended him from the knights, and he told the White Robe Magician about the Sand Worm King before the attack forced him to flee.
• Saine found Lina’s letter and wounded Owl Qi, then used Moxidu’s handle to locate a secret passage and escaped the city as the Magma Sea poured down.
• Saine and Qi traveled through the Underground Space and found Moxidu poisoned and dying, with Moxidu explaining how the Black Magicians had split up to escape.
• Moxidu taught Saine Flame Blade and alchemy, gave him his belongings and a flute for Qi, and died after asking Saine to carry on his lineage.
• Saine carried Moxidu’s ashes through the underground passage and met Midiqi at its exit, where Midiqi offered a reward and chose not to pursue him as a Black Wizard Apprentice.
• Saine declined Midiqi’s offer to guide him at Dawn Holy Tower, accepted a Holy Light Badge, and set out across the Surface World to scatter Moxidu’s ashes and seek his family.
