Why ride horses?
Wouldn't Awakened running on two legs be much faster than horses?
Linsey's thoughts drifted out of habit.
But when he looked closely, he realized these horses were far from ordinary. They had magical beast bloodlines, could charge over long distances at incredible speed, and barely even needed to rest along the way.

If that was the case, then the City of Law was the ultimate solution to the problem, and it certainly took priority over people like them who had been dragged here by Space-Time fluctuations.
For the time being, the conflict between her and Linsey over their respective paths would be difficult to reconcile.
