This also allowed the Dwarf race to complete many secret projects underground. When the Dwarves were active below ground, they were even more comfortable than on the surface.

Dwarf King Gunther brought Abel through a short-distance teleportation array in the palace and entered the underground area, appearing directly inside a cavernous space.

As soon as they emerged from the short-distance teleportation array, Abel sensed several scans of spiritual power. All of them were at the level of Rule Wizards, which showed how formidable the defensive forces here were.

The cavernous space was illuminated by oil lamps on the walls. They had not used the commonly seen illumination arrays, though Abel did not know what kind of oil these lamps used. Their brightness was no weaker than that of an illumination array.

On the wall opposite the short-distance teleportation array stood a black iron door, covered in countless patterns and arrays.

"Master Bennett, please wait a moment!" Dwarf King Gunther did not move forward. He turned to Abel.

Abel naturally did not walk forward either. His spiritual sense told him that danger lurked everywhere across the floor of this cavernous space.

"Open!" Dwarf King Gunther took out a badge, activated it with his spiritual power, and shouted.

Between the short-distance teleportation array and the black iron door, countless pillars rose from underground. Together, they formed a path wide enough for two people to pass through.
