Abel soon learned why the Spirit had survived until today. According to the Spirit's records, its name was Cultivation Spirit, and it was a Spirit born solely for planting.
Because of the special nature of the Mobile Cultivation Base, it required a special light source like the sun. Thus, a large number of Magic Gathering Arrays had been drawn outside the Mobile Cultivation Base, with all their energy supplied to the orb of light at the top.
Besides illuminating the plants, the orb of light at the top had another important function: attacking. Using the energy accumulated within it, the attack module could unleash lethal attacks.
After all the Cultivation Spirit's own energy had been exhausted, it had siphoned a little energy from the orb of light to survive.
The management and lighting systems used two separate energy systems. One was the enormously energy-consuming orb of light. Because it consumed so much energy, it could not be driven by Magic Stones, so its creators had spent a great deal of precious material drawing Magic Gathering Arrays outside the Mobile Cultivation Base.
The other was the Cultivation Spirit, powered by Magic Stones in the energy slots. This had originally been the best arrangement.
But who could have expected that, many years later, the Cultivation Spirit powered by Magic Stones would exhaust its energy first, while the enormously energy-consuming orb of light continued operating normally?
If the Cultivation Spirit had not used a Repair Puppet to create an energy channel from the orb of light to itself, it would have stopped working long ago as well.
However, that action violated the original design, preventing the Cultivation Spirit from using too much energy and allowing it to maintain only the most basic functions.
Of course, this also allowed the Cultivation Spirit to keep
