"Are you Grandmaster Bennett? I'm willing to offer top-tier materials or Potion Recipes that will satisfy you. Just name what you need, and I'll make sure you're satisfied!" God of Thieves Milton shouted again.
He increased the value of his offer. In his mind, top-tier materials and Potion Recipes should be enough to tempt this Alchemy Grandmaster.
Abel, however, wasn't tempted in the slightest. As an Alchemy Grandmaster capable of refining potions that astonished the entire continent, he could obtain top-tier materials and Potion Recipes from the Wizard Guild, the Dwarf race, and other major factions whenever he needed them.
What concerned him most now was the identity of this trapped deity. What puzzled him was why this deity had secretly come to the Golden Castle, and why he had come in person.
As far as Abel knew, almost no deity in this world would walk among mortals in their true form.
Take the Beast God who had died in battle on the Holy Continent. He had been a demigod who fought in the mortal world in his true form. Once defeated, he could very well have died outright.
True deities might not be capable of dying and could only fall into slumber, but prolonged slumber was practically equivalent to death.
Just as he was thinking about this, the Research Spirit sent back a message.
"Master, the only deity-related information associated with the name Milton is the God of Thieves. Milton is one of the many names used by the God of Thieves!"
When Abel heard the name God of Thieves Milton, he immediately understood why the God of Thieves had come. His Invisibility Cloak was the God of Thieves' divine artifact. He simply hadn't known that the God of Thieves was still alive and had found his way here.
