The upheaval on the Central Continent had lasted for several months. Abel had also turned twenty-five, while everything outside seemed to have nothing to do with him.
After the God Tier Wizard of the Wizard Guild investigated several of the places of faith under his jurisdiction, they might have cleared him of suspicion. Of course, they might also have been eliminating other possibilities before making a new judgment.
At the very least, after learning of his strength—and especially after one of their level-thirty-eight God Tier Wizards had been killed by him outright in a one-on-one battle—the Wizard Guild had completely abandoned any idea of dealing with Abel.
Unless even more formidable combat strength returned to the Wizard Guild, they no longer wanted to provoke any conflict with Abel.
Abel thus remained secluded in War Song Plateau and never appeared again. Apart from a few of his friends being able to contact him through messages, there was no further news of him on the continent.
Of course, even without any news of him, his reputation continued to rise throughout the Central Continent and the entire world.
No one knew that Abel spent almost all day in another world and was not actually on the Central Continent.
Although the senses transmitted through the Soul Chain had become somewhat unclear because of the distance between worlds, he could still receive the alarms sent by the gods in God's Country whenever an invasion occurred in any of the five places of faith under his jurisdiction.
Thus, he could now stay in the Dark World without any worries. He had a feeling that the time left to him was very likely far less than the nearly hundred years he had estimated.
Judging from God's Country's current behavior, they were being overly active. Their large-scale slaughter
