Background and History
God Tier Wizards are the uppermost practitioners of the Wizard profession. Their cultivation requires extraordinary resources, talent, and—most importantly—luck. The Wizard Guild can spend centuries cultivating powerful wizards, yet only a small number successfully reach God Tier. Reaching the Full State is itself a major bottleneck because advancement depends on finding a breakthrough opportunity before the cultivator’s lifespan ends 1326 1446.
A God Tier Wizard’s strength is tied to the development of their True World. Early God Tier Wizards possess True Worlds formed from their Rule Domains, while stronger individuals gradually make those worlds more complete. At the highest levels, a True World may contain plants, animals, and potentially intelligent races 1273 1318 1436.
The Wizard Guild historically maintained its dominance over the Central Continent through its large number of God Tier Wizards. Its cultivation process is considerably faster than the Dragon race’s path to God Tier Great Dragon, which can take tens of thousands of years 1351. The Guild’s advantage was challenged by Abel’s rapid advancement and his growing number of God Tier contracted items 1351 1352.
Abilities and Skills
True World
A True World is the defining power of a God Tier Wizard. It evolves from a Rule Domain and possesses tangible matter, spatial rules, and more comprehensive laws than a normal domain 1273.
- Can remain within the wizard’s body and be projected into battle.
- Can suppress enemies with its own rules.
- Strengthens spells before they are transferred into the outside world.
- Becomes more powerful as its rules, size, and internal life develop.
- A God Tier Wizard’s life imprint can remain within the True World, allowing resurrection if the world survives and sufficient resources are available 1310.
- A God Tier being without a True World may retain a God Tier aura but can recover only to approximately the Demigod Tier 1349.
Wizard Patterns
Wizard patterns are the foundation of a wizard’s power and are drawn within the soul. God Tier advancement involves drawing higher-level patterns and filling them with rules, mana, and spiritual power.
- God Tier Wizard Bradford instinctively redraws a Level 36 pattern during his recovery.
- God Tier Wizard Hawthorne possesses Level 38 wizard patterns, the strongest seen by Abel at that point 1350 1426.
- Abel draws three Level 36 patterns simultaneously during his promotion 1463.
- God Tier Wizard Basham’s Level 45 True World contains developed plants, trees, and fish, demonstrating the effect of advancement on world complexity 1436.
High-Volume Spellcasting
A God Tier soul can sustain many simultaneous spell operations. Abel’s three True Worlds allow him to cast fifty spells of each element at once, producing the output of three God Tier Wizards 1465.
- Ice Element True World: fifty Ice Bullet spell patterns.
- Fire Element True World: fifty Fireball spell patterns.
- Lightning Element True World: fifty Charged Bullet spell patterns.
- Basham can release two hundred Meteor spells from his True World at once 1483.
Rule Domains
Before becoming True Worlds, Rule Domains provide the foundation for God Tier advancement. Their rules assimilate the surrounding environment and eventually develop spatial structure.
- Bradford’s Freeze and Flame rules form pillars within his Rule Domain.
- The Domain contracts as Space Power flows into it and transforms it into a True World.
- A God Tier Wizard can channel Rule Domain or True World power into attacks and defenses 1350 1351.
Spiritual Power
God Tier advancement greatly strengthens the soul and spiritual range.
- Abel’s spiritual range increases from 7,000 to 9,000 meters upon reaching God Tier.
- With the Hunting Goddess’s Divine Crown, his range can reach 18,000 meters 1464.
- God Tier Wizards can detect major promotions, True World formation, and other God Tier auras across considerable distances 1463.
Aura Suppression
God Tier beings exert overwhelming pressure on lower-ranked professionals. Their uncontrolled aura can severely injure or kill anyone below the Legendary Tier 1352.
- True World users can conceal their presence by enclosing themselves within their worlds.
- Significant differences in God Tier levels create direct suppression; a Level 38 God Tier Wizard can overwhelm a Level 36 opponent through superior power 1440.
- Contracted God Tier beings can use special equipment and potions to resist prolonged attacks.
Equipment and Resources
- True World — The defining internal world of a God Tier Wizard and the source of advanced rule manipulation.
- Word of Power “Enlighten” armor — Increases all wizard skills by two levels and adds fire resistance when worn by God Tier Number One 1352.
- Word of Power “Delirium” helmet — Conceals the wearer’s identity and adds another two levels to all skills 1352.
- Word of Power “Spirit” sword and shield — Used with the armor and helmet; together, the equipment set raises all spell skills by eight levels 1352.
- Full Vitality Potions — Allow God Tier combatants to rapidly restore their condition during battle. Abel equips his contracted God Tier beings with belts that enable rapid potion use 1443.
- Top-tier Magic Stones — Can supply the enormous energy required to develop a True World; Abel uses 300,000 of them during his God Tier advancement 1464.
Relationships
- Wizard Guild — The dominant organization of the Central Continent and the primary institution cultivating God Tier Wizards 1351 1446.
- God Tier Wizard Basham — Wizard Guild Master and a Level 45 God Tier Wizard who later betrays the Guild to ally with Archangel Tyrael 1446 1496.
- God Tier Wizard Neismith — Wizard Guild Vice President who repeatedly opposes Abel and attempts to prevent the emergence of a new God of War 1273.
- God Tier Wizard McPhee — A senior Wizard Guild member who leads eighteen God Tier Wizards in pledging loyalty to Abel after Basham’s flight 1499.
- God Tier Wizard Bradford — A God Tier Wizard whose corpse Abel resurrects; Bradford later recovers a True World and is renamed God Tier Number One 1349 1352.
- God Tier Wizard Hawthorne — A Level 38 God Tier Wizard killed by Abel and later resurrected as God Tier Number Five 1426 1427.
- Abel — A rapidly advancing wizard who reaches God Tier, commands multiple God Tier contracted items, and eventually takes control of the Wizard Guild 1463 1500.
- Dragon God Louis — A Supreme Expert who advises Abel to bind the surviving God Tier Wizards through oaths of loyalty 1499.
Story Role and Major Arcs
The Divine Body Crisis
When Daof begins condensing a Divine Body, God Tier Wizard Neismith considers secretly interfering because he fears the return of a powerful God of War. The Dragon race protects Abel during the confrontation, preventing the incident from becoming an immediate war between the Dragon race and the Wizard Guild 1273 1276.
Bradford’s Death and Restoration
God Tier Wizard Bradford steals a treasure belonging to the Sea Dragon race and refuses to surrender it, despite warnings that his actions may endanger the continent 1323. After Bradford is killed, Abel preserves his corpse and resurrects him. Bradford initially lacks a True World, but gradually restores his Level 36 wizard pattern, Rule Domain, and True World under Abel’s observation 1349 1352.
The God War
Eight God Tier Wizards confront six God Tier Holy Knights led by Bauman. The Wizards rely on positional spellcasting, while the Holy Knights charge directly through their formation and use corpses to recover. The Wizard Guild’s forces ultimately retreat after destroying the Roaring Fortress construction site 1379.
Abel’s Promotion
Abel reaches God Tier after completing his Level 35 cultivation and activating Promotion Qi through his Druidic sub-soul. Twelve God Tier Wizards approach the War Song Plateau but do not interfere, recognizing both the danger of the promotion and the Dragon race’s protection of Abel 1463.
The Wizard Guild Takeover
After Basham and Archangel Tyrael flee, eighteen God Tier Wizards swear loyalty to Abel. Abel infuses each with World Power, allowing him to track the two Supreme Experts and protect the pledged wizards from Basham’s suppression 1499.
Abel then gains complete control of the Wizard Spirit, the entity managing the Wizard Guild. He assumes the position of Guild Master, activates the Guild’s detection arrays, and orders the teleportation network to deny Basham and Tyrael access 1500.
