The arakkoa seemed utterly unconcerned with the wars raging everywhere beyond their borders. The orcs' Orthodox Horde and the Draenei's Lightforged Judgement Army had nothing to do with them; the arakkoa had their own domestic affairs to deal with.

Even when nothing was happening, the arakkoa of Skyreach Peak had always remained aloof from the outside world. Their usual exchanges and contact with others were exceedingly rare—isolated youths, through and through.

Back to the point: the high arakkoa of Skyreach Peak had decided to wipe out their fellow exiles whose wings had already atrophied. The high arakkoa believed this degenerative curse was contagious, and they regarded the degenerated arakkoa as worthless, lowborn trash.
