Background and History

Ye Wuchen transmigrated eight thousand years before his confrontation with Chen Yi. His talent and the chat group's assistance carried him to the top ranks of its members. As Group 2 Master, he displayed 3.8 billion Combat Power, although his star-powered peak strike had defeated a demon rated at 7.8 billion. He regarded many higher-ranked cultivators as older competitors he would eventually surpass 63 70.

After dismissing and threatening Chen Yi in a chat dispute, Ye Wuchen entered a mission expecting to confront an opponent he could defeat. Instead, Chen Yi's avatar overwhelmed him and destroyed his return passage. Ye Wuchen surrendered, handed over 8,825,600 Immortal Essence Stones, and later transferred Gu Yuan and two other members from Group 2 to Group 108. Chen Yi placed a nine-bead Rainbow Bead necklace around his neck before letting him leave 67 69 71 72.

The beads subsequently demanded most of his daily ranking reward and interfered with his purchases. Seeking to steady his nearly collapsing Dao heart, Ye Wuchen entered the Dream Weaving Secret Realm—only to encounter Chen Yi again. He eventually accepted Chen Yi's direction, and their relationship developed into one in which Chen Yi entrusted him with research, exploration and resource-gathering work 83 84 85 139 174.

Appearance

Ye Wuchen has deep eyes compared to an endless river of stars. He has been shown in a loose white robe and, while working as God of Wealth, a brilliant red robe threaded with gold 63 221 191.

Personality

Initially proud and dismissive, Ye Wuchen expected his talent to overcome older rivals and badly underestimated Chen Yi. Defeat made him more cautious; he came to address Chen Yi as “Brother Yi” and greeted Gu Yuan respectfully despite their earlier hostility 63 70 85.

His confidence did not disappear. He enjoys the prospect of revealing concealed strength, readily proposes plans, and negotiates boldly for Ziwei's resources. He also knows when to stop: after obtaining three valuable mines from Xie Buro, he left further negotiations to Chen Yi 139 253 254.
