Shen Bai operated the Shen Family Pawnshop in Ascending Cloud County. After infiltrating the Qian Family estate and killing Master Qian, he discovered a damaged Buddha statue, appraised it with Malevolent Qi, and gained his first documented Divine Ability, Vajra Fist. 6

He initially avoided official entanglements, treating his cooperation with Cheng Shuang as a transaction rather than a partnership. However, he increasingly involved himself in eliminating Bizarre Entities and hostile sects, both to protect others and to obtain Malevolent Qi and Bizarre Items for his cultivation. 19 22 29
