Even so, Cheng Shi could still see quite a few things from his departure. At the very least, the other man was still a Fire Keeper. At the very least, he bore no ill will. And he had clearly noticed that the trial he was facing had changed, realizing that the "Cencha" of time had begun to occur among the players.
Cheng Shi was not surprised by any of this. After all, if even the founder of the Fire Keepers was not sufficiently perceptive, then the organization might have fallen apart right after its founding.
By the looks of it, in this chaotic trial of time, he might be able to trust one more person.
But that depended on the temporal Cencha not happening again.
After Qin Xin left, Cheng Shi slowly walked over to the Blind Man. The warehouse was huge. Folly and Truth's believers were conducting their experiment meticulously in the middle of it. Apart from the experiment at hand, the three of them had no interest in anything around them.
Seeing this, Cheng Shi smiled and sighed:
"It seems that desire and troubles are directly proportional. The fewer desires one has, the fewer troubles one has.
"Take the Doctor, for example. All he wants is to replicate this experiment for extracting divinity. As for everything else, he probably doesn't want to bother with any of it."
The Blind Man slightly turned her head and "looked" toward Cheng Shi, smiling as well. "That's true, but what you're talking about should only be the Doctor as he is now."

As expected, the Blind Man knew as well. It seemed Qin Xin's abnormality had made both Fire Keepers realize that the trial had changed.
