Humans!!!

Frostheart was extremely surprised.

She never expected that such an environment, and even other residents, would exist in these ruins!

Things she had only seen in documents before were now right in front of her.

Frostheart reached out and gently touched the leaves beside her. The peculiar touch made her tremble all over as if she had been electrocuted.

She saw a strange yellow insect hovering in the center of the flower, seemingly collecting something, its wings flapping and making a buzzing sound.

The rabbit hopped around beside her, Frostheart. She crouched down and held the rabbit down. The soft, furry feel of the rabbit gave her an unprecedented shock.

Reaching the stream, Frostheart squatted down and reached in to touch it. The icy and clear sensation made her shiver. She withdrew her hand and examined the liquid on Frostheart fingertips, eventually concluding that it was water.

She stuck out her tongue and licked it.

"!!!"

This refreshing feeling is a completely different experience from the water stored inside the insect's body.

While Frostheart curiously explored all sorts of things she had never seen before, Lu Ban's attention was focused on only one thing: he went to the girl's side.

After thinking for a moment, Lu Ban reached out to her side.

Then he clapped his hands suddenly.

"!!!"

The girl immediately woke up, scrambled to her feet in a fluster, drool still dripping from the corner of her mouth.

When she saw Lu Ban, she was both surprised and frightened. She hurriedly took several steps back, but her bare feet tripped over something, and she fell backward. She twitched and then fell into unconsciousness again.

Lu Ban reached out and shook her, but there was no response.

He checked her breathing and found that the girl was no longer breathing.

"I think I killed someone."

Lu Ban hurriedly took out Last Words Silver Pen and wrote a few words on the girl's body.

[wake up].

"Cough cough cough"

The girl immediately woke up.

Lu Ban helped her up and felt that the girl's body was acting strangely.

With a single glance at the [True Sight], he immediately understood everything.

This girl is a robot.

He didn't know the extent of human technology in the world before the destruction of this wasteland, but it seemed to be far more advanced than his original world.

The girl was confused for a moment, then looked at Lu Ban's face, suddenly cried out in surprise, stood up, and kept bowing to Lu Ban.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"Are you a robot?"

Lu Ban held her down and asked.

To prevent a scenario where a robot, after playing the role for too long, mistakenly believes itself to be human and then goes berserk, he first asked.

If the other party insists that she is human, then Lu Ban might have to let her rest for a while.

". Yes!"

Unexpectedly, upon hearing this, the girl broke into a bright smile, then stood up straight and spoke in a very full and resonant voice.

"Welcome to Future City Ecological Park. I am Lin, the guardian of the Ecological Park. I am happy to guide you through the park. Please join me in stepping into the world of nature."

This appears to be the robot's self-introduction.

Lin sounds like an Eastern name.

Her appearance was also similar to that of an East Asian, with smooth black hair, deep black eyes, and fair skin. She looked to be about fourteen or fifteen years old, which was the most endearing age for a child.

Judging from her appearance alone, apart from some joints, you wouldn't guess she's a robot. Her eyes are lively, and her skin has a radiant glow, just like a real little girl.

At this moment, Lu Ban also noticed.

The animals in this park are all fake.

They're all robots.

Due to advanced technology, at first glance, these creatures appear to be real, with body temperature, responding to external stimuli, and even interacting with the plants in the Ecological Park.

But upon closer observation, one can only find that their movements are sometimes wooden, like soulless puppets.

Even those plants themselves are nothing more than machine-made imitations; though realistic, they are ultimately fake.

"Your name is Lin?"

Frostheart asked. She didn't know anything about robots, but judging from the feeling the other person gave off, Frostheart thought that this child was not an ordinary human.

"Yes, you are the 6,666th and 6,667th guests of Future City Ecological Park. It's a pleasure to serve you!"

After a brief moment of thought, Lin smiled again.

"The six thousandth guest. That means more than six thousand people have visited here before this?"

Suddenly, anticipation welled up in Frostheart's eyes.

If someone visited this place before, does that mean that humans from before the catastrophe survived and were able to bring brilliant technology to help people escape their current predicament?

"Yes, since the start of the stay at Future City, I have hosted more than 6,000 guests, and their satisfaction rate with the Ecological Park has reached 99%. This is the result of Lin and everyone's hard work."

The Robot Girl spoke fluently.

"Everyone?"

Frostheart's breathing became rapid.

"Are there other people here?"

A thought suddenly popped into her mind: perhaps before the catastrophe, humans lived in such enclosed buildings, escaping various calamities until today.

She didn't understand robots, but the girl's performance had already surpassed her understanding. Ancient people who could do these things might have been able to do even more.

They might even be studying insect swarms.

"Are you looking for information on the residential situation in Future City?"

Lin asked.

"Right."

Lu Ban answered directly on behalf of Frostheart.

"A total of 1,673 residents have logged into Future City, and the number of people currently living in Future City is zero."

Lin said in a lively and cheerful voice.

"Have all the zero people left?"

Frostheart's eyes dimmed slightly.

"Indeed, so many years have passed, they must have left long ago."

"The Ecological Park has very exciting performances. If you want to watch them, you can wait until 7 p. m.

Lin continued her introduction.

"In addition, there is a restaurant in Building A3 that can provide food services. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. I am not only the guardian of the Ecological Park, but also the steward of Future City. Providing you with the best service is my greatest pursuit."

She remained as radiant as ever, seemingly oblivious to what was happening outside.

"There's food."

Lu Ban was wide awake at the mention of food.

Although I don't know if food that's been stored for hundreds of years is still edible, I still have to go and check it out.

After discussing it with Frostheart, they decided to go and check first. If they found anything edible, they would then call Singer and Shana over. This could be considered taking the lead, risking their lives, and going to great lengths for their teammates.

"Let's go check out the restaurant first, and while we're at it, take a look at the houses here."

"Okay, take care, you two."

Lin bent over deeply, and even after Lu Ban and Frostheart left the Ecological Park, she still didn't straighten up.
