Personality
Xiao Fen initially acts timid, nervous, and dependent on Qin Shang, openly admitting fear and seeking reassurance from him. Her apparent vulnerability is convincing enough that Qin repeatedly protects and trusts her despite privately considering her a suspect. 4 5 10 23
Behind this façade, she is calculating and decisive. As the God Slayer, she plans killings to provoke infighting, uses her accomplice before eliminating him, and exploits the group’s distrust to conceal her identity. 29
Despite her role, Xiao Fen retains her human emotions and memories. Qin’s protection—particularly his instinct to silence and shield her from danger—reminds her of her brother and causes her to spare him. 30

Story Role
First Exploration of the Death Train
Xiao Fen joins the group under the game ID “Grandpa Niu Cosplays Maid to Seduce Zhuang Zhuang's Mom.” She reveals a side-quest clue about finding Miss Mary, unintentionally worsening the group’s already fragile trust. 3 4
During the tunnel sequence, she appears frightened while holding hands with Qin Shang and the Thug. After two players die, she becomes a major suspect because she is one of the Priests and wears pink shoes, though she denies involvement. 5 7 8
When the survivors split into groups, Xiao Fen chooses to remain with Qin. She claims that he is the only person who trusted her and continues exploring Carriages One and Two with him. 10 11
Second Exploration of the Death Train
Xiao Fen reappears beside Qin in the dark train. He deduces that the Hello Kitty dolls indicate the rule of remaining silent and keeps her from making noise. She understands his gestures and follows his lead. 22
After witnessing Heart-to-Heart Sister’s death, Xiao Fen enters a freeze response and is temporarily unable to move. Qin repeatedly protects her from the Red Skirt Phantom, including shielding her from gruesome scenes. 23 24
While hiding from the Phantom, Qin silently questions Xiao Fen through writing on her palm. She denies being the God Slayer, Team Leader, or Accomplice, preserving her cover. 25
Exposure and Divine Punishment
After clearing the instance, Qin reconstructs the first round’s killings and identifies Xiao Fen as the God Slayer. She admits that she had intended to kill him but refrained because his earlier words would have made her the immediate suspect. 29
Xiao Fen explains that Qin’s protection of her twice made her remember her brother and feel compassion, leading her to spare him. When her mission fails, she asks Qin to deliver a message to her brother, whose Path of the Gods ID is “Red-robed Cult Master.” 30
The Path of the Gods then executes Xiao Fen through Divine Punishment: rainbow light pierces her skull, her body turns to charcoal, and she dies before completing her request herself. 30
