Settlers and Killers
In the Wizard Duel City of Pruodimor, Locke's avatar reappeared beside Mike. Mike was in an area resembling a wine cellar, surrounded by a dazzling array of Wizard Wine. The bottles shimmered with multicolored light, and a magic orb floated in mid-air, scattering various magical rays in all directions.
Locke saw a very modern bar counter in front of the wine cellar, but the door to the space in front of the bar counter was blocked by tables and chairs.
Multicolored magical light shone on everyone in the wine cellar.
Everyone was clearly surprised and frightened to see Locke suddenly appear beside Mike. Considering the common sense of this world, Locke suspected that the other party mistook his sudden appearance for the ability of those Killer to cross phases.
Locke counted; including Klee, there were only seven people in total.
The scale is indeed not large.
Wizard Mike enthusiastically pulled Locke aside. "Locke, these people are indeed very hospitable. They're very curious about our experiences—we're from another world, or, in their language, it seems to be called 'Alternate Phase.' Anyway, they're very curious about our background."
Locke glanced at Mike, then looked at the six adults, all of whom were at the apprentice stage of Magic Pressure, except for one middle-aged man who was at the First-Ring Stage of Magic Pressure.
These people were all smiling at him, but their eyes were filled with worry and vigilance.
Mike the Wizard is a thick-skinned wizard.
He clearly didn't notice the slight trembling of these people in the dim environment, polluted by magical light.
They were afraid of themselves and Mike.
Klee grabbed Locke's hand and led her to the middle-aged man, then blinked and said, "Yuribu, this is the great Traveler I told you about. You told me about him for three thousand four hundred and one episodes, and I even painted him in oil. But little Haikofu..."
へ"II
"Today is the first time I've met a real Traveler."
"Yuribu, may we host this great Traveler in our own home?"
Yuribu looked at Locke, a smile on his face. "Of course. I'd also like to speak with both of you."
"Please, our two guests, enter our true quarters, Klee."
Klee clutched her small crossbody bag, tilted her head back, and flashed a bright, sunny smile. "Mmm."
Locke and Mike were led into a basement-like cabin located below the wine cellar. There was a fireplace, a sofa, and several beds. Although the room was small, the furnishings were quite reasonable and looked very elegant.
Klee placed large quantities of fine bread, sausages, beef, and lamb in front of Locke and Mike, while also placing various exquisite stews and other dishes in front of the six adults.
Klee smiled and said, "Eat up. I made all of this myself. Although many rare foods need to be automatically produced by the still-operating factories in Wizarding City, and we might even have to fight with other Settler for them, these ordinary foods are automatically produced in shops on many streets of Wizarding City. Wizarding City can still operate for now, although the Wizard Array in many places are starting to age."
One of the women chuckled, "Yes. Our Klee can do anything. When we first met her on the street, we were worried about how such a small child could survive in Duel City. But she's incredibly capable. She can keep our room so organized and always keep our place clean."
Before I met Klee, I was someone who couldn't even wash dishes properly.
Wizard Mike asked in surprise, "Is washing dishes difficult?"
Seeing that Mike seemed quite lenient, the woman grew bolder, raised her index finger, and explained, "That won't do. For example, you have to wash every side of the bowl thoroughly, not just the inside, but the outside as well. After cooking, all the pots, pans, and used kitchen utensils must be wiped clean and properly categorized."
"Simply put, keeping your living environment organized requires a fixed amount of time each day. For example, you could set aside an hour each day for housework. Of course, you can shorten that time. Besides, we were always on the run, so we simply didn't have the mood to do these things."
The woman ran her finger along her lipstick-covered lips. "Anyway, in this run-down city, any food can be produced by magic that's still running. It's ridiculous. So we've just been making do with what we can. We'll just get by as long as we can. Until we met Klee, we finally escaped that situation."
Klee tilted her head back, her cheeks flushed. "Where is it?"
"Gabu, you really lack life experience. Who only washes the rim and inside of dishes?"
Klee ladled out three large bowls of beef soup and placed them in front of Locke, Mike, and the woman Gabu.
Mike quickly became friends with the group, chatting and laughing together.
It's true that everyone's personality is different, because Mike's interpersonal skills and easygoing nature are indeed advantageous in the Second Ring Witches.
They are different from other wizards, after all, many of these people are just Wizard Apprentice in the Wizarding World, and many wizarding mentors find it difficult to have a heart-to-heart talk with their students over drinks.
Locke and the middle-aged man exchanged a glance.
Immediately afterwards, the middle-aged man went up to the wine cellar, and Locke, knowing that the man wanted to speak to him, followed him.
The middle-aged man, standing among the many bottles of wine in the cellar, said to Locke, "The Traveler was a lie I told Klee."
Locke said, "I know."
A cold, magical dagger was placed against Locke's neck. The middle-aged man gripped the dagger with his thick arm, his eyes filled with a fierce light.
"There are plenty of magical equipment and lights here, as well as a large amount of Magic Pressure. Hiding here will minimize the chances of the Killer finding us."
"I don't want to cause trouble."
"This is the first time I've ever seen two Killer working together. But you and he—both have lives on your hands."
"You Killer too."
Locke snapped his fingers, and the middle-aged man looked at his hand, immediately recoiling in fright, for the magic dagger had inexplicably turned into a clump of weeds.
Startled, he quickly stepped back, bumping into a pile of bottles behind him.
Locke looked at him. "There won't be a second time."
"You have seriously offended me. Ignorance is no excuse, and I personally believe that punishing someone without teaching them is tyranny. But you now understand my principles; if this happens a second time, you will die."
The middle-aged man realized from Locke's words that the other man did not want to kill him.
He quickly said to Locke, "Okay—okay."
He looked at Locke with a terrified expression, then smiled bitterly, "Who exactly are you people? You're too powerful. Klee is a child with hope in her eyes, unlike us exiles. To comfort her, I made up a fairy tale for her. In this fairy tale, there is a group of people who, like the Killer, can travel between different phases, but their ways of doing Killer are completely different. They are Traveler travel between different phases, learning different knowledge in each phase, and then acting as vigilantes in their own right, intervening in injustices they see."
"In this Duel City, I used the most impossible thing to weave this fairy tale for that girl."
I know it's ridiculous.
The man smiled wryly. "But Klee believed it."
"Can you leave here?"
Locke nodded. "Of course, I appreciate the information you provided."
Wizard Mike had already gathered a lot of information at the dinner table, and it seemed unlikely he would get any more. Besides, there were still quite a few people in Duel City; when he used his Magic Pressure to cover the entire city earlier, he discovered there were approximately 30,000 people.
The man breathed a sigh of relief.
Locke paused, then said to him, "But how do you know that the story you're telling is false? That it's something impossible?"
The man breathed a sigh of relief, then looked up at Locke with a look of utter astonishment and disbelief.
"Ah?"
Locke said to the man, "How can you be sure that the story you're telling is false? No story imbued with human emotion is entirely fabricated."
The man was completely dumbfounded, looking at Locke with an incomprehensible expression.
Locke said, "Then I must call my companions back and leave."
The man quickly looked at Locke gratefully, but remained wary of Locke, always keeping his face turned towards Locke and not daring to turn his back on Locke.
Locke walked back to the room in the cellar and said to Wizard Mike, who was mingling with the others, "Mike, let's go."
"We've gathered enough information here. They don't have the technology to traverse phases. Let's go check elsewhere."
Or capture one of those so-called Killer.
However, it's not appropriate to say that here.
Wizard Mike quickly stood up. "Yes, boss."
Klee also stood up, clutching her crossbody bag. "Are you leaving so soon?"
At that moment, a woman Gabu at the dinner table accidentally bumped into a glass bottle, which immediately shattered on the floor.
Gabu his hands together, bowed his head, and apologized to everyone. "I'm sorry, I'll handle this."
Gabu quickly reached for the shards of glass on the ground, but suddenly pulled her finger back in pain because she had cut it.
Wizard Mike said, "I'll handle it. A Cleaning Spell will do. You are wizards, not mortals. How can you deal with magical sludge yourself?"
Klee immediately tensed up. "No!"
Wizard Mike looked at her with a puzzled expression.
Klee ran over to Mike and said, "The Killer monitor Settler use magic. The more magic they use, the more traces they leave. Even if the magic equipment up above interferes later, it might still be discovered that we live down here. So we generally don't use magic unless absolutely necessary."
Wizard Mike gave him a somewhat absurd look. "Ah, okay. I see. No wonder you guys mentioned doing housework earlier. If we don't use magic, then we'll have to do it with our own hands."
Klee picked up some napkins and placed them on the ground to absorb the liquid. Then she used some wet wipes to put the glass shards in the trash can, carefully cleaning up everything on the ground while kneeling on the ground.
"There, it's done."
Gabu looked at Klee gratefully. "Thank you, Klee, you're amazing."
Mike leaned over too. "Mmm, it's really clean."
Klee stood with her hands on her hips, extremely smug. "Hmph, even Traveler have things they don't know. Although magic is powerful, our hands are also a kind of magic, capable of doing the same things, and even better in some situations."
"We can handle everything without magic."
Klee seemed to remember something, stuck out her tongue, closed one eye, and smiled through the other. "Sometimes it really does seem like you encounter problems that can't be solved without magic. However, in Duel City, using magic will be seen as participating in the killers' Killing Game by the Killer. So, it's best to avoid using it if possible."
Klee looked at Locke and Mike. "You two Traveler, are you leaving?"
Wizard Mike looked at Locke.
Locke nodded calmly, then turned and led Mike away.
Klee only watch them leave with a look of regret.
On the street, Locke and Mike walked side by side, and Mike took the initiative to tell Locke about the information he had gathered.
"These Settler were probably the original inhabitants of this Duel City; they had always lived here. Until one day, only one city remained in the entire world. Most of the city's population suddenly disappeared, and the city's edge lost all spatial distance, leaving only emptiness."
Fortunately, magic still functions normally in most areas of this wizarding city, so plenty of food and supplies can be produced.
"So they banded together and lived together. Because most of the people disappeared, the social relations here collapsed, resulting in what we see now. Of course, there's also the reason why Killer hunted them like lambs to the slaughter."
"Boss, these Settler frequently encounter attacks from different Killer from different phases. The Killer will actively hunt them down once they see them. As for the reasons, they themselves aren't entirely sure, only having some guesses. Plus, Klee said at the end—well—I think using magic too often will attract the Killer. So, if we can use this to our advantage, we can pinpoint and capture the Killer Killer. Then we can extract information from them about their side."
Locke said, "The timeline doesn't add up. If something truly terrible happened in the Venom Great World, it was tens of thousands of years ago. They're talking as if they've always lived in the Wizarding City and only encountered this sudden change a few years ago. That doesn't make sense. I just tested it, and their memories haven't been tampered with by mind magic. At least, I can't tell."
Mike said, "That also finds me strange. I've tried to probe them, but they themselves are vague about it. Maybe it has something to do with the nature of this world—"
Locke said, "Then let's go verify some of our guesses."
Although Locke and Mike could only use First-Ring Realm at the moment, they still moved very quickly. They quickly and easily circled the entire city to observe its overall appearance.
The two met again in the city center.
Wizard Mike said, "This is really strange. This world is indeed only the size of this one city. The city's perimeter is void, and its base is also void. Only the sky above has a spatial distance of millions of light-years. What kind of world is this? It's truly bizarre."
"Moreover, the Light of Mind of the entire city is so intense. Although we haven't met many of the Settler here directly, just a glance is enough to tell that many of them possess First Ring Fruit Position. And many more have the Settler Apprentice Fruit Position. This city is truly strange."
Locke said, "Besides that, Mike, have you noticed that this city has no energy production units?"
Wizard Mike looked at Locke, his eyes wide. "No?"
Locke said with certainty, "Yes. Think carefully, haven't you seen any places storing magical energy along the way? So the question is, what exactly is the magical energy that keeps all the Wizard Array and magical devices running in this entire wizarding city?"
Mike raised an eyebrow.
Locke snapped his fingers, channeling his magical energy into the surrounding space. Instantly, dense, verdant Verdant Spiritual Breath filled the air, so dense that even Mike could see it after Locke cast his Spiritual Breath.
Mike's nose twitched. "Such a rich Spiritual Breath."
"It's like being deep in an ancient forest filled with High-Ring Magic Plant. Wait a minute, boss, this wizarding city doesn't have any forests like that."
Locke said, "Yes. This city is full of strange things. I think the most important questions to answer right now are the two major ones. The first is the source of this city's energy. The second is why this city has such a dense Spiritual Breath. A city with few people and few magical plants shouldn't have so much Spiritual Breath. So the question is, what is the source of this city's incredibly dense Spiritual Breath? Spiritual Breath can only exist in living beings."
Mike looked down at a neglected wand lying on the road. "Yes, Spiritual Breath only appear on living beings. But the whole city..."
It was rather deathly silent. Perhaps these Spiritual Breath didn't originate from the city itself, but rather from the void that enveloped it?
Mike shook his head. "No, we tested it before; there's nothing in the void surrounding the city."
Locke said, "Actually, there's a very simple logic. So much Spiritual Breath must mean that there's one or more High-Ring Magic Plant somewhere in this city, and the level of those plants is extremely high."
"Perhaps we can find it. That could explain many things in this city. We can go—"
Locke and Mike suddenly sensed an unusual Magic Pressure fluctuation coming from a direction behind them, as if a battle was taking place nearby.
Wizard Mike turned to look in the direction from which the Magic Pressure was coming. "That direction—"
"Isn't this the direction of Klee's base? Were they attacked by the Killer?"
Wizard Mike looked at Locke. "Boss, should we—"
Locke nodded slightly.
The two quickly headed in that direction.
Bang!
A flame exploded in the distance, and the male Settler leader, along with Klee, Gabu, and four others, ran out of the wine cellar. They looked behind them in horror and saw a man with two candles in his mouth and eight more candles held between his ten fingers, all ten candles burning brightly.
He threw the eight candles in his hand forward, and they immediately tumbled and danced in the air before exploding in succession.
Klee clutched her head, crouched on the ground, and screamed. The male Settler leader shielded Klee from the blast with his own body; his back was scorched by the flames, a large hole was burned in his clothes, and blood was flowing from the wound.
If it weren't for the Magic Power Klee possessed, they would have died instantly.
The male Killer picked up the candles tucked into his mouth with each hand and gave chase with a sneer, but at that moment, the two candle- Flame Bomb he threw were knocked away by the wizard Mike with his Ribbed Steel Wand.
"Um?"
The Killer gave the suddenly Mike Wizard a dangerous look.
Wizard Mike glared at him, annoyed. "You clearly have the ability to kill them quickly? What are you doing?"
The male Killer scratched his ear with his finger. "What are you doing? Haha, the Settler are sheep, and sheep eat the fruits of plants, while we Killer are wolves. Wolves need to disturb the flock to attract more sheep's attention in order to hunt. I thought the rescuers would be other Settler might be hiding nearby, but I didn't expect it to be two Killer."
"While I do welcome killing, are you trying to steal my prey from me?"
He looked at Mike and Locke with suspicion, vigilance, and an aggressive gaze.
Mike frowned. "You're a wizard too, aren't you? Crystallization level Magic Pressure. Shouldn't someone like you be exploring the unknown boundaries of the world, seeking more truth? Why engage in such pointless killing? I've seen some mad wizards, but their killing was only for obtaining truth, not to satisfy their own morbid desires."
"What good does it do you to kill these defenseless people?"
Upon hearing this, the male Killer narrowed his eyes and asked curiously, "Don't you know? In the 3,213 Duel City, there exists the following urban legend: By hunting down all the Killer in each Duel City, and confirming one's position as number one through repeated killings of one's own kind, one can gain the qualification to ascend to the Divine Gate, pass through the Divine Gate, enter the Divine Realm, and comprehend the will of the heavens with a mortal body."
"This is the common wish of all Killer."
"You're saying we get no benefit from this?"
The male Killer burst into laughter. "What are you talking about? Hahaha, this is the greatest benefit—constantly fighting, constantly honing your strength, ensuring you have the ability to destroy your own kind. We are wolves."
The male Killer's psychic powers seemed to transform into a wolf, attacking the wizard Mike.
The wizard Mike shielded his face with his right hand. He glanced at Klee, who was looking at him with pleading eyes. Was this psychic power spell, or a property of his own Mana?
He is Crystallization wizard, so his Mental Power should be able to materialize. No, it's not materialization, but rather a transformation of his Mental Power.
Wizard Mike picked up the Ribbed Steel Staff staff, applied gravity to the tip, and sent the Killer was lunging at Klee flying.
Mike said, "Sir, I cannot consider you a wizard based on your actions."
The Killer emerged from the dust, glaring angrily at Mike.
"What's wrong with you? Are you trying to hunt down that Settler? Or are you trying to hunt me down? No, I could understand if you were trying to hunt down that Settler or kill me. But not only are you acting with others, you're even blocking the Settler's way. What's going on with you?"
The Killer was surrounded by two Beast Soul, one a Beast Soul and the Beast Soul a wolf. Each Beast Soul possessed First-Ring Limit Magic Pressure, including his own First-Ring Limit Magic Pressure. The three ultimate Magic Pressure combined to reach 10,000 points of Magic Pressure. The next moment, the Killer's pupils turned gold, and wolf fur appeared on his face.
The next moment, he charged directly at Mike, Mike was caught off guard by the sudden increase in the opponent's Magic Pressure and was sent flying.
Wizard Mike looked up at the man in disbelief, because in Duel City, everyone was only allowed to use the First-Ring Realm, yet the other man had used a bizarre method to raise his Magic Pressure to the Second Ring level.
The next moment, the Killer showed no sign of stopping, and instead threw the candle in his hand at Mike.
Mike swung the rebar and destroyed the two flaming candles before they exploded.
At that instant, a glint flashed in the Killer's eyes. His ability was to infuse any object with Fire Element power; the candles were merely a medium to catalyze the reaction rate of Fire Magic. In essence, he could detonate anything he touched. Therefore, the two candles were just a feint. The moment his palm touched the Ribbed Steel Wand in the man's hand, the wand would explode.
Wizard Mike waved his Ribbed Steel Wand, no longer underestimating the Killer in this Duel City.
On the surface, the Killer in Duel City seem to be limited to using the First-Ring Realm. However, perhaps due to some kind of repression caused by their inability to advance to the Second Ring for a long time, they actually managed to develop a way to stack Beast Soul and enhance their Magic Pressure under the extreme environment of the First-Ring Limit limit of Magic Pressure.
It is clearly First-Ring Realm.
But this Killer before us possesses three First-Ring Realm.
Wizard Mike felt the overwhelming killing intent surging towards him. In that instant, he immediately realized something was wrong. However, Mike was filled with mixed emotions and couldn't be sure what had happened.
The Killer's hand was about to touch the rebar when he caught a glimpse of Locke out of the corner of his eye. Locke was standing right next to him, motionless. In that instant, the Killer suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, as if he were naked and in the dead of winter. He abruptly withdrew his hand and began to back away.
The Killer, still shaken, looked at Locke. "He didn't move?"
"Wrong."
"I clearly felt that if I placed my hand on the rebar in that strange man's hand, I would die instantly. This doesn't seem to be just a hallucination."
The Killer looked at Mike. "This guy's easy to deal with."
"He's full of flaws, looking like a naive and innocent person, not very wary of others. It's hard to imagine that he's the Killer of our Duel City. A Killer is a veteran of countless battles, his hands stained with blood, honing his Mana in battle, transforming himself into the the Strongest beast."
"But another person."
The Killer looked at Locke, his pupils suddenly shrinking. The mocking thoughts he had been harboring when hunting down Klee and the Settler were gone, as was his intention to entangle with Wizard Mike. Instead, he stared at Locke.
Locke raised his hand to him and smiled, "Hello. I am Locke Augustine, also known as the Beholder Wizard. As you said, there is a rumor in Duel City that whoever becomes the the Strongest Killer can obtain the will of heaven with a mortal body and enter the Divine Realm. So how did you cross phases?"
How about we become friends?
The Killer was no longer listening to anything Locke said. He was like someone facing a raging beast. When Locke raised his hand and smiled at him, every word he uttered seemed to strike his forehead like thunder, and he trembled all over.
This person is very strong.
The Killer became serious, took out eight candles from the inside pocket of his clothes, and had the Sheep and Wolf Two Souls wrapped around him. He stared intently at Locke. As a veteran Killer who had fought countless battles in the Duel City and had killed 107 Killer to date, he felt a long-lost feeling, the feeling of challenging a beast far superior to himself.
The Killer moved slowly around Locke.
They tried to find Locke's weak point in his Magic Pressure.
He possesses an ability called Beast Instinct, something he gained through countless life-or-death crises in Duel City. His Mental Power is constantly evolving, and in this process, he can identify powerful beast creatures and perceive their weaknesses.
The Killer glanced warily at Locke and swallowed hard.
He will not beg for mercy.
In this Duel City, killing or being killed, or Settler down peacefully in a wizarding city, are all choices.
Now that he has embarked on the path of slaughter to select the the Strongest, he will not regret it.
Once a move is made, there's no going back!
Locke said calmly, "My friend, why don't you speak? Didn't you hear me? How about we become friends? Tell me the secret of crossing phases."
The Killer's eyes revealed a strong fighting spirit. He suppressed his fear with reason, took half a step towards Locke, and then took two steps back like a frightened animal.
Locke said, "It has no weaknesses."
The Killer was startled, but still refused to surrender.
Killer is a choice.
If the Killer choose to surrender, then they are no different from the Settler, having degenerated from wolves into sheep.
Locke, seeing that he still refused to leave, said, "So that's how it is. It's not just ordinary trash."
Seeing this, Locke decided to stop talking. "In that case, it seems we can't solve this with words."
The Killer suddenly threw a candle- Flame Bomb at Locke, then turned and ran in another direction. The moment he saw Locke, he knew that the difference in their strength was too great. As a lone wolf, he knew that he had no chance of winning against Locke.
Surrender is a form of surrender, while temporarily avoiding direct confrontation is Wisdom unique to those who prey on others.
The Killer leaped onto a Rail Magic Skateboard that was moving through the air. Standing on the skateboard, which was rapidly ascending into the sky, he turned to Locke and said, "Farewell, Killer over there. These prey are yours."
He breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the distance between himself and Locke grow ever greater.
However, the next moment, his pupils suddenly shrank, and he saw Locke appear beside him. He also saw many duckweed floating in the air. These duckweed combined to form Cloud Rail similar to the track under the magic skateboard he was standing on. Locke's palm was on his shoulder.
"Friend, I am a pacifist, but unfortunately your lack of cooperation is forcing me to resort to force."
The next moment, the Green Dragon Vine attacked him.
An hour later, Locke's true form contacted his teacher Witch Catherine, in his office.
"Teacher, the inner world of the Venom Great World is roughly like this. I fought one of the Killer there, and his fighting spirit was extremely strong. Through our exchange, I discovered that his First-Ring Realm doesn't use the mainstream Vaporization, Liquefaction, and Crystallization of the Wizarding World —the three stages of Mental Power."
"It's still the three stages of Mental Power transformation, namely, after entering the ordinary First Ring, there are three Mental Power transformations— Camel, sheep, and wolf."
"Based on my encounter with that Killer, my initial assessment is that there are more different levels of the First-Ring Stage of the Wizard Duel City."
From the other end of the Lingzhi Magic Plant, the voice of the Witch Catherine came through. "Well done, Locke."
"So, what kind of environment do you think Wizard Duel City is?"
Locke said, "Teacher, there's too little information at the moment; I can't be certain yet."
"Besides that, I also discovered very abundant Spiritual Breath within the Wizard Duel City. I observed the Spiritual Breath using my portable Sunlight Divine Mirror Monocle, and my analysis suggests that this Spiritual Breath is similar to Spiritual Breath of Rose Genus magical plants. This means that there are likely very high-level Rose Genus magical plants within the Wizard Duel City. Although I don't know if this will be helpful to you, Teacher, I think I should still tell you this information."
The Witch Catherine paused for a moment, then spoke to Locke from within the Lingzhi Magic Plant: "Locke, you've done well. Trajan also reported some of the information you gave me. Combining the information from both of you, I can confirm that there should also be wizards from the Rose School Lineage who have entered the Venom Great World. I'm currently focusing all my attention on the Blazing Sun Greater World. Therefore, I will support you and Trajan in exploring the Venom Great World. I'll give you one hundred million Magic Stone for exploration funds."
"If you can find that high- Rose High-Ring Magic Plant, please bring it back to me."
"Anna and I are cultivating a true Fourth Ring Rose Magic Plant in the Blazing Sun Greater World. This is an extremely dangerous thing."
59
"Both I and she are trying to cultivate our first Fourth-Ring Magic Plant. Once successfully cultivated, it should benefit all the wizards in our Academic Lineage."
"The Fourth-Ring Magic Plant can cast spells on all wizards in the Academic Lineage."
The Witch Catherine said, "Therefore, we are collecting a large amount of Magic Resources or related research results on Rose Magic Plant."
"Guo. Locke, if the wizards of the Rose School Lineage are also eyeing that high-ringed Rose Magic Plant in the Wizard Duel City, then we won't be able to determine whether that magic plant is the key for me or Anna to cultivate Fourth Ring Rose Magic Plant."
Locke never expected that he would receive a hundred million Magic Stone stones from his own Academic Lineage.
Locke said, "Okay, teacher. I will do my best to find that High-Ring Magic Plant."
I myself need to complete my research on Spiritual Evolution. Wizard Duel City is also full of mysteries, and it seems that there is a considerable connection between the Sun-Ring. Therefore, I do need to further explore Wizard Duel City.
Inside the Wizard Duel City, Locke approached Mike and said, "Mike, I'm certain now. The reason this Killer can traverse phases seems to be because he's gained some kind of identity. I can't pinpoint exactly what that identity is yet. This person is extremely stubborn. He'd rather fight me to the death than surrender. This might be a habit the Killer developed in this wizarding city. It's completely different from the personalities of wizards in the native wizarding world. Of course, the First-Ring Realm they use are also very interesting."
"But it seems that without this Killer's identity, one cannot move freely within these three thousand-plus Duel City."
Wizard Mike fell into deep thought. "I'm thinking, if only the Killer can move freely, and we outsiders can't move within the major cities, then aren't we destined to be confined to this Duel City? Of course, we can still conduct a thorough search of the entire Duel City to see if there are any hidden passages."
Locke waved his hand. "No need for all that trouble."
Actually, there's an even simpler method.
"The Killer will hunt down enough Settler. Using the Azure Cloud Duckweed and my Moon of Evolution, I can infuse the spirits of Klee and others into my Floating Duckweed Magic Plant. Then, by mass-producing the Azure Cloud Duckweed, I can create False Spirituality Reaction affecting millions of people. Enough Settler spirits..."
Sex will constantly summon new Killer.
"If the Killer are indeed carnivores, then with a simple shift in thinking, it becomes clear that if enough herbivores gather together, these people will come on their own."
Mike swallowed hard.
Locke said, "Even if we can't move freely within the Duel City, if we slightly change our thinking and make this wizarding city the center of the world, we can attract all the valuable individuals we want to this city. By capturing those Killer, we can learn the whole picture of this world, and most importantly, obtain the method to leave here and their ability to travel between phases."
Locke looked at Klee and asked, "Klee, are you willing?"
Klee raised her right hand. "Yes, Traveler! Thank you for saving us."
All the Settler looked at Locke with gratitude.
