Locke took the letter, ignored the elf servant's bow, and opened it. It turned out to be a reply from the White Wizard Association's Breeder Competition division.
"Hm? As expected, I passed the preliminaries."
The standard letter from the competition committee congratulated Locke on being selected for the finals and invited him to submit a second magical plant work, along with its documentation report, to continue competing in the White Wizard Association Breeder Competition finals.
"Only the top three hundred works in the entire Southeastern Corner Region can enter the finals," Locke said. "This is an established competition organized by the White Wizard community across the Southeastern Corner Region. Basically, every qualified Assistant Breeder participates to compete for resources."
"So the preliminary round receives several thousand entries."
"Yet my work fought its way out from among those thousands." Locke looked at the ranking list of the top three hundred enclosed with the letter, an indescribable emotion appearing in his eyes.
Previously, he had only gradually explored the Wizarding World of the Southeastern Corner Region from within Lilith's Cottage. But now, he had finally begun to make a name for himself in this region. It was his first time participating in a competition spanning the entire Southeastern Corner Region, and he had won.
