Howard spun around, intending to fly away, but froze. A Crystal Palmfire Lotus was hurtling toward him from behind, and two more were coming from his left and right.

Locke's Omen Mandrake Vines had used their invisibility to spread around Howard on all four sides without him noticing.

Using the principle that Magic Pressure could travel through magical plants, Locke had cast Scorched-Earth Bomb four times at medium to long range through the vines.

The attacks surrounded Howard from five directions.

Fear showed on the Vampire's hideous face.

Under the control of Armed Plants, the Leaf Blade pivoted nimbly through the air and sliced off the Vampire's other wing.
