Locke hesitated. Should he leave immediately and get out of the Forbidden Forest, or first finish constructing his Permanent Defense Field, Forest Sanctuary? After a moment's hesitation, he chose to complete his First-Ring defensive magic inside the research institute.
At present, his First-Ring defensive magic was still incomplete. Forest Sanctuary needed an external spell library before it could unleash its full power.
"This research institute is actually pretty good." Locke's eyes brightened slightly. The institute's location was extremely well hidden, and it was protected by First-Ring magic. It was even sealed by Mythic Lock Magic from the Illusion School. Ordinary wizards would never be able to find this place.
If he had not happened to obtain the location information from the Eternal Dusk Garden, he would never have found this place by chance in the Swamp Forbidden Zone, let alone discovered its location after finding a rock to stand on.
Therefore, before he could purchase a Druid's Ring, he could place his Forest Sanctuary here first.
As it happened, there were living Magic Plants scattered throughout the research institute. By selecting some of them, he could temporarily put together the simplest basic version of Forest Sanctuary.
But before that, it would be better to deal with a few minor troubles.
Brilliant azure magic radiance appeared in Locke's eyes. "Come out. How much longer are you going to watch from the sidelines?"
"Dean Lewis."
At once, the Square Crystal in a corner of the Central Control Room released azure magic radiance.
The Lantern Grass beside the crystal swayed slightly, and an illusion appeared next to it.
It was the image of a middle-aged man wearing a white wizard's robe. A small Focus Spell Monocle covered his left eye, and an unremovable scar left by Death Magic marked his forehead.
