Arro investigated the Demon Tree, reached Peran Manor, and agreed to clear the Shadow Monsters from Baron Claire’s former castle. After defeating the castle’s threats, he took charge of it, agreed to shelter Bevan, and found Bard serving as its new butler.

• White Deer guided Arro to the Demon Tree, where he saw Abyss-corrupted sprites luring animals to feed the rapidly growing tree, and he decided to prepare before attacking it.
• Arro reached Peran Manor, defeated Baron Claire in a duel, revealed himself as a wizard, and agreed to clear the Shadows from Claire’s former castle in exchange for a place to live.
• At a checkpoint, Arro and Bard fought Viscount Corey’s soldiers, rescued an injured child, and continued toward Peran Castle after Arro warned the survivors that a wizard would be staying there.
• Arro entered the castle’s Anomaly Space, destroyed its Shadow Creatures, Shadow Puppets, Shadow Wolf, and undead noblewoman, then searched the castle and found armor he could modify.
• Arro began reshaping Soldier Heavy Armor, but Claire arrived as Shadow Puppets attacked the castle, and Claire’s horse scattered them while Arro erased the remaining monsters with Solar Fist.
• Arro agreed to shelter Bevan at the castle but refused to teach him wizardry, and he required Claire to establish that Arro’s authority there would go unchallenged.
• Claire brought people from Peran Manor to the castle and returned to the Night Curtain, while Arro cleared more Shadow Creatures and woke to find Bard appointed as his butler.

Arro cleared the Castle of Shadow Creatures, rescued White Deer from Edmund, and killed the Blood Bat after resisting Abyss Power’s influence. He rebuilt his combat plans and left the Castle to seek supplies, keeping his trip hidden from Viscount Corey.

• Arrow learned that servants feared the Castle’s downstairs rooms, then led them in clearing Shadow Creatures with lamps, mirrors, and Holly’s help.
• Arrow decided to seek an Extraordinary Market to restore his strength, while White Deer visited and told him the Demon Tree had shed its leaves.
• Arrow met Edmund Thomas, a Blood Bat who had captured White Deer, and fought him to free her.
• Arrow defeated Edmund after Abyss Power intensified his desire to prolong the fight, then killed him when he judged him too dangerous to spare.
• White Deer warned Arrow that Killing Intent remained in his heart, and he later made Holly a pendant from a drawing inspired by a remembered song.
• Arrow taught Holly and Bevan, revised his combat style to conserve resources, and designed the Arc Moon Sword Technique.
• Arrow left in the Deer Carriage to buy supplies while avoiding Viscount Corey’s notice, and told Bevan to contact his father if he did not return within five days.

Arrow returned to Peran Territory after surviving an ambush, then reforged his armor and destroyed the Demon Tree. He investigated White Fluff Root through experiments and training while signs of war grew, and left plans to move the remaining bark with White Deer.

• Arrow fought off pursuers in the snowfield, escaped with his armor intact, and returned to Peran Territory with Ian’s invitation to the Bu'en Family.
• Arrow reviewed a Record Stone battle with Holly, then enchanted his Magic Phoenix Golden Armor and used it to destroy the Demon Tree.
• Arrow let White Deer keep the Demon Tree trunks she needed and took White Fluff Root tendrils, which restored his energy.
• Arrow tested White Fluff Root on mice and found that they gained weight quickly, while later experiments showed the root-fed mice developed swelling and unusual eating habits.

• Wizard Bosco escaped, the Saint Fernando Empire moved against Scarlow Fortress, Ranelli nobles opposed aiding Scarlow City, and Viscount Corey sought a creature Knight Benson believed was a Little Sprite.
• Arrow identified a flaw in Bevan’s hot-air balloon calculations and suspected the mice’s symptoms came from essential amino acid deficiencies, prompting him to plan a microscope.
• Arrow stopped feeding the rats White Fluff Root, arranged to travel with White Deer to move usable Demon Tree bark, and told Holly how rubbing fur could create faint sparks.

Arro traveled with White Deer, reached a village threatened by a werewolf, and later learned she had been taken by Knight Benson. He rescued her and set out with her toward Lix City to recover the Little Sprites, despite her warning about his growing connection to the abyss.

• Arro accompanied White Deer to a village, then left with his elk carriage and encountered Demon Hunter Rett fighting a werewolf.
• Arro claimed the werewolf’s corpse from Rett and learned that Rett’s academy had been closed ahead of an approaching war.
• Arro sold Demon Tree bark in Mannheim Market, rejected a potion-shop elder’s offer, and later burned Ian’s warning about Holy Light affecting his armor.
• When White Deer failed to answer his messages, Arro flew to the tree demon, learned she had gone missing, and used her Covenant of the Heart to locate her.
• Arro found White Deer in Knight Benson’s convoy and terrified the soldiers with Abyss Power before defeating Benson with a fire technique.
• White Deer told Arro that wizards had taken Little Sprites to use as material for Household Servants, and Arro learned they were headed to Lix City.
• Arro cursed the soldiers to keep them silent, then White Deer chose to join his journey and warned him that using Abyss Power would deepen his connection to the abyss.
