Arc 17The Ghost Orchid Garden

Arrow prepared for his journey across the Dark Plain, survived its dangers, and uncovered the Ghost Orchids’ human-fed growth at the Bu’en Family garden. After Morton brought him to the confined Ian, Arrow found Ian’s room in disarray and identified the torn plans as a Wind Element Armor design.

  • Arrow reached the Bu’en Family garden, where he learned the Garden Guards had used human lives to ripen the Ghost Orchids and resisted the orchids’ influence as it drove him toward violence.
  • Morton apologized for the garden incident, agreed to compensate Arrow with thirty-six mature Ghost Orchids, and brought him to the Bu’en Family residence to investigate Ian’s confinement.
  • Arrow entered Ian’s room, found a frightened maid beside a pool of blood, and identified Ian’s shredded design papers as plans for a Wind Element Armor.

Arro uncovered how Morton had manipulated Ian and Arro’s own thoughts, then sought help from Oak Tree Granny to preserve the Ghost Orchids as protective seeds. He left for the Dark Plain, where he fought a group near Forest Island and defeated the mercenary Anabe, who had once belonged to the Manticore Tail School.

Arc 20The Cat School Takes Shape
