Arc 21The Martial Path Emerges

Arro entered an Anomaly Space to rescue Holly and encountered a Different Dimension Explorer, who helped him uncover the principles behind a new path of cultivation. Arro named it the Martial Path and resolved to make strength more accessible, while negotiating payment for his Qi Blood Rampage manual.

  • Bevan agreed to help Arro and Anabe develop Qi Blood Rampage, chose Anabe’s Five Animal Play plan, and began studying Arro’s designs.
  • Bevan entered the Poison Salt Ore wagon, experienced a strange vision of a giant snake, and later joined Holly in researching ways to purify the ore.
  • Arro discovered that Holly and Bevan had entered an Anomaly Space, found Holly unconscious, and carried her into the Gray Mist to search for her.
  • Arro fought a Spider Woman and swarms of shadowy monsters, gained Experience Points, and learned that Holly remained nearby but separated from him.
  • Arro met a Different Dimension Explorer, who recognized the value of his Qi Blood Rampage manual and explained how wizardry, bloodlines, and knight training related to the body.
  • Arro and the Explorer worked out a cultivation sequence that began with the body and Life Force before progressing through mental strength, Magic Affinity, and the Sea of Consciousness.
  • Arro named the new system the Martial Path and argued that people should learn for themselves rather than imitate others or become tools.
  • Arro resolved to promote the Martial Path, then insisted that the Explorer pay for the completed Qi Blood Rampage manual rather than count their discussion as payment.

Arc 22The Eight Extremes Method

Arro rescued Holly and Bevan from the Farmer Young Man’s Soul World, then investigated how Poison Salt Ore had drawn Bevan into the Anomaly Space. He developed the Eight Extremes Method and ended by asking Bevan whether he wanted to try learning it with Magic Power.

  • Arro accepted Explorer’s payment for Qi Blood Rampage, learned that his attached soul was called a Guardian Angel, and tested the Magic Sea Pendant before reaching the village in the Anomaly Space.
  • Arro confronted the Farmer Young Man, challenged his claim that the space was the World of Souls, and fought to free Bevan and Holly from his attacks.
  • Arro broke through the Farmer Young Man’s prison spheres and reached Bevan and Holly, then used the Black Flame Fire Phoenix to absorb the storm and attack the giant.
  • Arro brought Holly and Bevan back to the Underground Base and concluded the monster might still be alive, while Bevan’s symptoms led Arro to suspect Poison Salt Ore had caused the Anomaly Space.
  • Arro determined that Bevan was key to the space’s appearance, kept him from repeating the dangerous experiment, and decided to pursue a major news story by developing a quick combat technique for freemen.
  • Arro investigated how to use Life Force to enhance combat and, after dissecting a Werewolf, proposed storing it in the Lower Dantian and began drafting a new method based on Qi Blood Rampage.
  • Arro developed Dantian Method: Ghost Gate Life Seizing and designed techniques for strengthening the body’s systems, naming the complete martial art the Eight Extremes Method.
  • Arro learned an incomplete Eight Extremes Method containing the Swallow and Blood Character Techniques, wrote out its techniques for Bevan, and asked whether Bevan wanted to try using Magic Power to practice it.

Arc 23The Martial Arts Holy Land

Arro trained Bevan, drew Claire into a plan to spread martial arts among the empire’s soldiers, and began shaping a code to guide their use. The arc left Claire preparing to disappear under a cover story while his autobiography was revised for the campaign.

  • Claire defended his decision to trust Arro, while Lucius disputed reports of Arro’s strength and masked nobles considered taking Arro’s viscountcy.
  • Arro warned Bevan that magic power could damage his body, then taught him to prioritize movement and careful control over a single overwhelming attack.
  • Claire revealed that he had captured two deserter Formal Knights, and he explained to Arro how the siege of Scarlow Fortress relied on ranks, factions, and successive waves of fighters.
  • Arro gave Claire martial arts manuals and a plan to gain fame among the empire’s soldiers, while Claire agreed to seek Countess Ilinda’s approval rather than conceal the scheme from her.
  • Arro developed the Heaven Mending Technique and a set of principles for rewarding good and punishing wrongdoing, then urged Bevan to help spread the ideals of its fictional founder.
  • Arro asked Bevan to establish a Martial Arts Holy Land with Anabe, who studied the techniques and recognized that magic power might let him overcome a limit in his training.
  • Arro repaired combat treasures and installed Alchemy Tables at the academy, then explored building a game console from logic gates before setting aside the unfinished CPU design.
  • Claire returned after being dismissed from his post, and Arro told him to rest before training at the Underground Base and to review a manuscript titled "Claire's Autobiography" for his cover story.
