• Violet Marshall received wisdom to preserve her beauty, gave Shade Hamilton her Ring of Power, and returned to the witches’ camp with Teresa.

Shade helped expose and defeat a Demon at the Royal Festival Concert Hall, absorbing the Crying Angel and gaining the Wrath rune. As the Chosen One’s ritual approached, Shade and the Witches investigated its requirements and the Bard’s trial before he traveled with Sister Devlin to the Sacrificial Ground.

• Shade warned Princess Margaret about the Ridgewich Field bomb, then investigated the Demon at Canary Manor with Doctor Schneider and witnessed its encounter with Legenes Presia.
• Shade entered the past through the Time Corridor, helped Witch Chloe and the other survivors fight the Demon, and learned the Winter Maiden’s Miracle before returning to the present.

Shade found the Yellow Moon relic and uncovered Legenes Presia’s plan to use a ritual at Lake Heart Island to awaken his Angel bloodline and weaken the Great Swamp’s seal. He entered the swamp with the Witches, but the fog separated the group, leaving Shade alone near the lake as Miss Pawo appeared to discuss the Chosen One.

• Shade confessed his past to Princess Margaret, who chose him as her lover, and they parted at Sparrow Hamilton’s grave before Shade and Luvia discovered Mr. Booker’s burned library.
• Shade learned that the Pantanal Voodoo Society intended to use the Fourth Chosen One’s ritual to release the Evil of Pantanal, while the search for Source of Chaos led him to a hidden compartment and the Red Moon Spirit Rune.
