Shade helped Miss Chloe reach Demigod status, then returned to Lake Heart Island as Legenes Presia’s ritual began. After gaining Fourth Ring Enlightenment and awakening his Mystic Locks, Shade confronted Legenes, who challenged him to a duel of knowledge and wisdom.

• Shade escaped the blizzard’s Formless Spawn and reunited with Iluna, then they crossed the frozen lake and discovered the Church’s plans for the island.
• Shade returned to the past and helped Miss Chloe confront her fears, complete her Golden Staircase, and become a Demigod Witch.
• Shade returned to the present, found Iluna approaching the lake under Desire’s influence, and agreed to carry Desire’s perfume bottle to the island.
• Shade and Iluna investigated the island, learned that the Church had divided its forces among several ritual sites, and headed toward the lighthouse and Stonehenge.
• Shade lit the lighthouse lamp to stabilize the Primordial Fire’s seal, learned about the Intellect Angels and the Recorder, and recovered the knowledge Violet and Teresa had hidden in the Elixir of Immortality.
• Legenes Presia’s enlightenment ritual spread wisdom across the island, allowing Shade to gain Fourth Ring Enlightenment and Iluna to record part of Legenes’s power with her Gleaming Stones.
• Legenes Presia awakened as the Chosen One of Knowledge and Wisdom and challenged the assembled forces, but Shade descended from the lighthouse and confronted him.
• Shade used his Water of Wisdom Mystic Lock to reflect Legenes’s arrow, shattered Legenes’s halo, and struck him with a powerful arrow before Legenes proposed a duel of knowledge and wisdom.

Shade defeated the Evil of Pantanal with the help of five Demigod Witches summoned from the past, then recovered and dealt with the aftermath. As the Year-End Festival approached, he gathered with friends and allies, opened the Keeper of Secrets Hall, and realized Grace and Helen might soon lose their ordinary lives.

• Shade defeated Legenes Presia, recorded his Chosen One power in Aiken Ola Knowledge Arrow, and returned to Lake Heart Island as the Evil of Pantanal escaped its seal.
• Shade used the Words of Sublimation to awaken the five Demigod Witches, who helped him petrify and defeat the Evil of Pantanal.
• The Witches departed, Iluna stayed behind to explain events to the Church, and Sister Devlin carried the exhausted Shade home to Luvia and Tifa.
• Shade recovered, gave Luvia the qualification of the Fourth Chosen One, and later gave Tifa the runes she needed to advance to the Seventh Ring.
• Shade met Desire and the Swamp Witch’s soul, then shared what he had learned about the five Witches with Miss Galina, Miss Sylvia, and Miss Aurora.

Shade uncovered more of the repeating Sixth Epoch, advanced through the Academy, and pursued the Silver Moon Library ritual while balancing his growing relationships. He solved Miss Norma’s death and prepared to use the Time Key as he and Luvia planned separate trips to Randall River Valley.

• Shade spent the Year-End Festival with Leisha, Dorothy, and Luvia, then entered their shared dream and found Luvia’s Another Me in a ruined future who gave him a Dead Key’s location and warned him of the Doomsday.
• Shade enhanced his time abilities with Doctor Schneider and learned that the Sixth Epoch had repeated six times before the current cycle, vowing to end the cycle.
• Shade passed the Winter Exams, advanced to the fourth year, and received the Outstanding Student title and Feliana Medal before traveling to Saint Byrens with Mia.
• At Saint Byrens, Shade met the raving Legenes Presia, then used the Source of Chaos and the Wordless Black Book to reveal the Silver Moon Library ritual and agreed to perform it with Administrator Miss.
• Shade investigated several cases, earned a Kingdom Special Contribution Award and promotion, and learned of Leisha and Angelina’s trade plans and the coming political tensions around the Pantanar Area.
• Shade investigated Miss Norma’s disappearance for Professor Martin, discovered her blood rituals and the spirit tied to her potted plants, and found her buried with three men at an abandoned manor.
• Shade learned that Miss Norma had willingly sacrificed herself to protect the land, helped her pass into the afterlife, and told the men she would not be resurrected.
• Shade arranged the Silver Moon Library ritual, learned that Luvia planned to travel to Randall River Valley, and decided to use his Time Key on Saturday night while keeping his own journey secret from her.

Shade investigated Randall River Valley’s corrupted land, uncovered the Forgotten Church, and learned a new healing spell while preparing to help the Butterfly God’s ritual. After mastering a singing Thaumaturgy, he was trapped in a puppet show with Vanessa Benanis and fought to escape its miniature castle.

• Shade helped Maggie Blatcher, Aoli Perry, and Fred Lyman summon the Butterfly God, which invited them to a singing contest and promised favor to the best performers.
• Shade discovered a hidden church and returned two lost medals to Earl Hegel Granger, who gave him a Silver Cube that recorded the valley’s history.
• Shade met Luvia in Randall River Valley, learned about local legends, and accepted a commission to investigate land that turned the dead into evil spirits.
• Shade cleansed the Golden Dawn Opera Troupe’s manor with Earth Power - Healing Aura and freed a trapped soul, while Miss Grande paid him for his work.
• Shade and the witches discussed Vanessa Benanis and the valley’s recurring contamination, while Leisha helped Shade master the Sound of Music thaumaturgy.
