Shade confronted the Stone Heart Demon and uncovered the Guardians’ fused souls while Mad Earth and petrification spread through Randall River Valley. As he prepared for the Chosen One Ritual, Shade investigated missing flower girls, then used Toy Making to restore Margaret and other victims of a new mass petrification.

• Miss Danist warned Shade and Luvia about the threats gathering in Randall River Valley, and Shade and Luvia later joined Miss Benanis to investigate the black stone monsters and Mad Earth.
• Shade and Thomas Granger fought the Stone Heart Demon’s cultists, while Mr. Granjay revealed that the Guardians were hundreds of souls fused into one person to protect the region.
• The Stone Heart escaped into the Earth Crack, and Shade repelled an evil god’s gaze with the Light Spell before collapsing from fever.
• Shade and Luvia considered how Stone Osenfott might corrupt the Guardians, while Margaret reported evidence of his smuggling and Shade learned more about the coming Chosen One Ritual.
• Shade and Iluna investigated the missing flower girls, found the Flower Girl and the four remaining captives, and secured their release in exchange for the girl’s departure.
• Shade purified a contaminated chamber and formed a Blossoming Holy Grail, then learned the feast ritual required Four Seasons Flower sacrifices and five wielders of Earth Power.
• Shade arranged help from Marylin Handel and learned Soul Whiplash to use against the Guardians if they became enemies, while an earthquake and fire killed at least a hundred people in the region.
• A cultist statue petrified hundreds of people at the Stone Masons Association, and Shade used Toy Making to restore Margaret, Prince William, and eighteen others before Margaret embraced and kissed him.

Shade prepared for the fourth stage of Mad Earth while arranging to confront Stone Osenfott and help the Witches protect Randall River Valley. The arc left Shade and Siris exploring her father’s memories in the Forgotten Church, where Mr. Lathers’s memory pointed them toward a riddle in the basement.

• Margaret used the attack to strengthen her position, while Shade planned to settle matters in Randall River Valley and learned that the petrification might be linked to the cultists’ Divine Advent Ritual.
• Shade traded Stone Osenfott the Kasonlik Third Class Combat Hero Medal and Sapphire Earrings, but Osenfott demanded a favor before giving him Founding, and the Demon later froze time and threatened him.
• Shade gathered allies and safeguards for Friday’s meeting with Osenfott, while Doctor Schneider warned him that the Soul-Sucking Demon Blade was a distraction.
• Shade found a Demon Hunting Seal beneath Nidlan Lake and learned that the Demon could hide in anything it reflected, while Mr. Lathers warned that a major earthquake would bring Mad Earth to its fourth stage.
• Margaret and Prince William settled the Royal Family’s dispute with the Stone Masons Association, and the Witches prepared to defend Randall River Valley as the earthquake warning spread.
• Shade returned to the stricken city with Mia, coordinated with the Witches and Church, and learned that the Guardians might go mad after the first Randall Flower bloomed.
• Shade and Siris entered the Forgotten Church, where Siris confronted her resentment toward her father and gained memories, mirror fragments, and the seven-ring Enlightenment Spirit Rune: Sacrifice.
• Siris completed the mirror, which summoned Mr. Lathers’s memory and directed her to a riddle in the church basement.

Shade recovered the Flower 12 card, confronted Stone Osenfott and the Stone Mirror Demon-Goth, then returned to Randall River Valley as the earth’s distortions worsened. He entered the Eternal Night City event with Luvia, and later faced the God of Black Night with Fiona, who was demanded as its Court Painter.

• Siris mastered Earth Power from her father’s memory, while Iluna told Shade she would defend the church and meet him at the ritual site.
• Shade and Miss Sylvia encountered a Karak Great Snake, then Shade entered the Osenfott manor and found Haila dead beside the genuine Flower 12 card.
• Shade learned the history of Stone and Haila Osenfott, freed Haila, and fought Stone before piercing his heart as she had instructed.
• Gothe tried to claim Osenfott’s soul, but Shade summoned Desire to referee a wager and won by identifying the Stone Mirror as Gothe’s true body.
• Shade gained Moon’s Shadow, released Osenfott’s soul, and summoned the Wosente family spirits, who dragged him into True Death, and Haila gave Shade her stone heart and told him cultists had taken Shi Dong’s statue.
• Shade returned to the Wilde Opera House as the earthquake crisis worsened, then entered the Time Corridor with Luvia to investigate the Eternal Night Maze.
• Shade and Fiona met the God of Black Night and offered Cinderella’s story, which Fiona painted on stone slabs for its palace.
• The God of Black Night demanded Fiona as its Court Painter, and Shade promised to save her before using his God’s Radiance.

Shade returned to the past to rescue Fiona, then came back with new power as the Mad Earth crisis worsened. He and Iluna entered the Heart of the Earth, while the Churches and their allies confronted the Mad Guardian and Shade began a mysterious ritual before it.

• Shade returned to the past through the ancient passage and rescued Fiona from the Old God of Night, then brought her safely to the Fifth Epoch.
• Shade returned to the present, gathered his allies, and entered the Heart of the Earth with Iluna through the Forgotten Church.
• Shade and Iluna briefly restored the Guardian’s sanity, but the Four Seasons Flower’s corruption caused him to erupt in black sludge and leave them trapped.
• Shade gained the earth’s divinity and escaped with Iluna, who named her new power Stone Heart and learned the Mad Guardian was heading for Ailong Riverbank.
• The Great Witches and Church forces confronted the Mad Guardian, while Siris met her father Mr. Lathers and refused to sacrifice her own path for the Guardians.
• Shade reunited with the Witches, healed Miss Galina, and went alone toward the Guardian as the final battle began.
• Shade challenged the Guardian over its plan to contaminate the earth, prepared a strange mixture in his Holy Grail, and collapsed as heavenly light enveloped him.
