• Shade helped Young Mr. Gilott accept his soul’s release, completed Illustrious Miss’s fourth task, and entered the shipwreck disaster in the Time Corridor.
• Shade and the Witches uncovered how the Radiance Messenger and a young Blue Dragon had fused into Miss Maron, whom Shade named Angie Illustrious.
• Shade and the Witches escaped the Seven-Tailed Player aboard the Radiance Messenger, and Shade returned to Spring with two leaves from the Tree Father.

Shade investigated the abnormal light and the Sword of Light’s conditions while preparing for the threat surrounding Moon Bay. After uncovering Detective Sparrow’s clues and being cursed by Pharnalius, he found Miss Belinder and the maids unconscious in a hidden chamber, but Bella’s Whisper Element became completely restless when he tried to help her.

• Luvia warned Shade and Iluna about the Dragon Devouring Order and gave Shade a compass pointing toward traces of the Ancient God Radiance Dragon.
• Shade and John Flynn exchanged information about the Chosen Ones, while Flynn’s companion revealed their search for the Bloodkin relic Blood of Sorrow.
• Shade and Miss Belinder explored the Vampire Beast’s sewer nest and found a Black Dragon Scale that had affected several creatures.
• Shade and the witches used Emilia’s dream to expel the Midnight Footsteps, and Shade later joined the royal family’s opera performance as the Dragon.
• Shade and Miss Belinder investigated a mass of abnormal light at the Belinder farm, where Shade purified it and found a Holy Grail inscribed “Source of Light.”

Shade and his allies confronted the Misfortune Demon at Belinder Big Ben, where Emilia drew the Sword of Light and Shade survived the Crow’s attack. After the battle, they gathered at Belinder Manor and returned to their preparations for the Moon Bay Incident and their exams.

• Shade met Desire beneath Moon Bay and agreed to protect the city from the coming disaster, then investigated the Curse of Prejudice with Priest Augustus and helped him regain control.
• Shade and Doctor Schneider traveled to Moon Bay to hunt the Black Crow, but Corpse in the Wall trapped Emilia and Little Unicorn inside Belinder Big Ben.
• Shade drove back the Angel Level Relic with Silver Moon, but a Crow Feather pierced his heart and he appeared to die as Mr. Crow confronted Emilia.
• Emilia rejected Mr. Crow’s offer, awakened the Sword of Light, and fought Pharnalius alongside Shade, Doctor Schneider, and Iluna until Shade and the Doctor banished the Demon.
• Shade returned to Belinder Manor with Emilia, where Princess Margaret and the Witches learned what had happened and Bella reconciled with him after he revealed his identity.
• Shade confirmed that Emilia’s Crow tattoo had vanished and explained the attention her Sword of Light had drawn, while Doctor Schneider discussed his plans to advance and asked Shade to keep their group together.

• Shade entered the Gravel Gold Sand Sea in 4260, met Yadlin Sianuode, Liya Sandel, Ms. Meister, and Shelly Knight, and learned that each sought the Oasis Heart.
• Shade and the God of Mist explored the desert, where Shade found a metal compass fragment and helped Grandma Sianode survive an illusion of her clan’s dead.
• Shade returned home, then visited the being beneath Earl Dalmanin's Residence, who gave him Madeline's Love and tasked him with killing a masked intruder in Moon Bay.
• Shade investigated Moon Bay with Mr. Bernhardt, questioning Captain Rudolf and John Flynn as they pursued the Bloodkin supplying the Dragon Devouring Order.
