Shade defeated York Bronte, recovered the Cowardice rune, and uncovered evidence linking Vesta Woodland’s time anomalies to remnants of an ancient tree. His investigation then led to the Golden Music Hall’s hidden past and a new mystery involving Professor Quintus’s murder and Linda Bennett’s disappearance.

• Shade joined Miss Danist and the Witches' Followers in pursuing York Bronte, then froze and shattered Bronte’s soul with Chloe’s cold, gaining the Cowardice Spirit Rune.
• Shade and Emilia stabilized the coffin’s time disturbance, recovered a Youthful Immortality Leaf, and found Theodore Bronte’s soul fragment inside the coffin.
• Shade and his companions examined Theodore and York Bronte’s memories, discovering the Mourner’s coffin, a Black Great Tree, and evidence that World Tree Remains were connected to Vesta Woodland’s time anomalies.
• Shade investigated the Golden Music Hall with Professor Quintus and Miss Danist, learning that Quintus had dreamed of an emerald tree and that researchers who recovered antiques had gone mad.
• Shade traced the temple’s patterns to ruins near Coldwater Port, where Mr. Edmund identified a Time Temple and explained that a Time Shard could lift Time Curses.
• Professor Quintus was found murdered, and Shade and Miss Winslet uncovered a Tree Hole Association ambush tied to the Clockmaker and a Poem Chapter Fragment about the Golden Music Hall.
• Shade learned that Iluna had been ordered to obtain a Luku Bird Riding License, while Jane Alba reported that Linda Bennett had vanished after running around a large tree.

Shade rescued Flora from Love Lake, then completed his final Time Corridor trial and ferried several souls home before visiting Chloe in the past. Back in Vesta Woodland, he investigated a hidden melody with Flora, learned Body of Courage, and began Red Butterfly Day with Leisha and Dorothy.

• Shade and Flora Winslet found Linda Bennett and two strangers unconscious on Love Lake, but Shade later woke underwater and learned that Flora and many others were trapped there.
• Shade gathered the Witches and their allies, discovered the Mermaid was connected to Love Lake, and entered the water to wake Flora from her dream.
• Shade and Flora escaped the lake, and the group released its other victims, including Linda Bennett, before returning to Tobesk.
• Shade repaired Miss McConaughey's key, completed the Time Corridor trial, and learned that Mr. Nelson's wife had vanished after using a Spirit Board to reach the Qidian.
• Shade helped Mrs. Nelson forget the apocalypse she had witnessed, ferried her and the other survivors home, and received the Ferryman's Blessing.
• Shade visited Chloe at Meteor Fall Lake, where she explained the Mermaid's nature, gave him Chloe's Ice Echo, and left a silver Moon Mark on her forehead as he returned to his own time.
• Shade reunited with Flora and investigated the Golden Music Hall, where they found ancient sheet music and arranged to perform its completed melody at the Harvest Festival concert.
• Shade learned Body of Courage, grew into a giant form, and then began Red Butterfly Day with Leisha and Dorothy, who asked him to turn Leisha into a hamster.

Shade investigated the Fire Disaster Demon’s attacks in Vesta Woodland and discovered a hidden chamber containing powerful elven relics and a dangerous Time Key. The Time War began, and Luvia gave up her qualification so Emilia could attempt to travel to the Fifth Epoch and bring Miss Feliana back.

• Shade and Miss Danist traced the forest’s burning trees and animals to the Fire Disaster Demon, then found an ancient elven shrine where the Demon had stolen Primordial Fire.
• Shade and Miss Danist investigated the old Hoy Manor fire, fought a fiery Demon avatar, and Shade later used Return of Time to find evidence of a link to 1546.
• Shade recognized George Kant as the Demon’s avatar but kept his discovery secret while Flora performed at the Golden Music Hall.
• Shade opened a hidden chamber beneath the hall, found a fossilized seed, the Golden Jewel Crown, and a dark Time Key, then fought the Twelfth Ring Clockmaker when she tried to take it.
• The Time Guardians warned Shade that the Time Key could collapse the timeline and announced the Time War, marking Luvia, Emilia, the Clockmaker, and others as candidates.
• Luvia decided not to compete and agreed with Shade to give her qualification to Emilia, who would attempt to travel to Saint Byron’s in the Fifth Epoch.
• Long-Haired Luvia took the Time Key from reality through Shade’s soul, while Shade and Miss Danist discussed Emilia’s plan to reach the past and bring Miss Feliana back.

Shade investigated Fire Demon - Disaster’s traces, found a link to the Delin Orr Restorationists, and prepared to identify its hidden incarnation. He also gave Emilia the Elven Royal Authority, helped Iluna complete part of Strange Tree Academy’s final lesson, and learned more about the Doctor’s sealed power.

• Shade and Miss Owl discovered that Gregory Village’s recent activity led into a cellar where light awakened a burning vision of the village, and Shade escaped the Ashes monsters with Flora’s help.
• Shade reached the Underworld with the old woman’s soul, received a hunter’s message linking Fire Demon - Disaster to the local herb trade, and learned that antiques from the village had reached Director Kant.
• Shade gave Emilia the Elven Royal Authority, changing her Destiny Ring, then received the Blade of No Edge’s scabbard from Miss Danist.
• Shade and Luvia traced the Demon’s fragments to the Kant Family, the Delin Orr Restorationists, Vesta Woodland, and the Desolate Village, while Vanessa and Flora located a powerful beast in the woodland.
• Shade used the Time Key to reach Strange Tree Academy, reunited with Iluna, and helped her and three witches begin the lessons required to complete the Lord of the Black Robe’s final ritual.
• Shade learned that Iluna could return to Strange Tree Academy one second after leaving, then heard from her that Church reinforcements and possible Time Cicada Divine Art Items were on the way.
• Shade told the Doctor that Remaining Advice named him the Demon King, and the Doctor revealed that Mr. Tim and Miss Shana Aya had sacrificed themselves to protect him and the world.
• Shade and Flora attended Mayor Ronan’s tea party to approach Mrs. Shatara and Sir Wayne, while citizens protested the train station expansion and Shade impressed local merchants with his business knowledge.
