Director Anlos had heard some inside information about what had happened at the Reading Salon and knew it was connected to the Church and those mysterious incidents, so he merely rubbed his nose and said nothing.
"Come to think of it, does this count as a work-related injury?"
Shade joked, then his expression became slightly more serious:
"I found out that Your Highness sometimes sneaks out on her own. At first, I thought she wanted to meet with some mysterious person, such as the so-called Gray-headed Eagle, but in the end, it seemed that she merely wanted to stroll around the city."
"We also know that Your Highness sometimes goes out alone, and the Kasonlik delegation is quite helpless about it. But since she wants to see the city, we cannot exactly object. We can only do our best to ensure her safety. Still, I don't think Your Highness would personally meet with the Gray-headed Eagle. She only needs to send someone close to her to handle that sort of thing."
Director Anlos analyzed from the sofa:
"You have done very well recently. His Majesty has also heard about your interactions with Her Highness at social gatherings. Whether she came here with some other purpose or not, all we need to do is ensure that one of our people is by her side in every situation."
As he spoke, he took out a card and handed it to Shade:
"Keep working next week. On Friday, Her Highness will visit Delarion's Third National Mechanical College in the University District and attend lectures, from morning until evening. This is an entry permit for the National Mechanical College. You will go along that day. There will be many people, so watch carefully for anyone suspicious approaching Her Highness.
