"What's wrong with you today? You hurried over here with Angelina early in the morning for breakfast, and you've been fidgeting ever since."

On sunday morning at Galina Manor outside the city, the Duchess sat on the sofa in the study with a teacup in hand, her lovely brows furrowed as she looked at Leisha across the tea table.

Her Royal Highness the Princess pursed her lips without speaking, tilting her head to look out the window as though there were some beautiful scenery outside. Her face showed a hint of unease, so the Witch teased her again:

"You look like someone put a pea beneath the sofa cushion. If you're uncomfortable, how about I have Tifa bring you another cushion?"

After she said that, the Black-Haired Head Maid really did move to prepare a soft cushion, but Leisha stopped her:

"No need, I just..."

She was too embarrassed to mention what had happened at Shade's home last night, nor was it convenient to explain what "phantom pain" was—it did not actually hurt—so she instead asked:

"Have you decided when to leave for the Green Lake Region?"

"Yes. The negotiations have already been underway for half a month, so it's time to depart. Today is sunday, and the plan is to leave before next weekend. There are many people traveling with us, so preparations are slower. When the time comes, many people will see us off. You don't receive that sort of treatment every time."

She smiled at her two great-nieces:

"Leisha, it's impossible for you to accompany me to the Green Lake Region. Your father would never allow it. But Angelina, would you like to come with me? Consider it a chance to broaden your horizons."

The little Princess was tempted, but she still looked toward her elder sister.
