Although letting an ordinary person come into contact with a relic was quite unwise, Angelina was on the verge of awakening. Besides, there were so many Ring Arcanists in the building now that the highly perceptive ladies could tell even across floors whether anything had happened to Angelina.

"All right, Grand-Aunt."

The little princess nodded obediently. As she left, she could still hear the three Witches discussing their respective plans for later.

Though it was already late at night, many people were still moving about in the Green Lake Inn on the island. Angelina did not recognize most of them, but she knew that they would all become her "companions" in the future.

As she climbed the stairs, she wondered what her elder sister was doing at the moment. When she reached the third floor, she began to guess whether Shade might be in the bedroom. But when she pushed open Shade's unlocked door, she immediately saw him jumping down from above through the window.

So Shade would not be in the room.

Though the room Shade occupied at the inn was the finest available, it was not actually very large. At the very least, it was not as large as the Changing Room in Angelina's room at Yodel Palace.

She could also feel that she was about to awaken. So, following the method she had heard from Leisha, she tried to use Inspiration to capture traces of Elements rather than searching for the relics with her eyes. For a Ring Arcanist, knowing a relic's name, traits, and appearance should make it easy enough to detect its Whisper Element.
