The figure that had been transformed into a humanoid shape of white light had barely touched the door of a street-facing shop when the door immediately melted into light.
The silver cat heard terrified screams coming from inside the shop and knew there were other people within.
The cat lightly leaped down from the rooftop. Before landing, it transformed into a red stream of light made of Red Butterflies and flew through the large hole melted into the tea shop's door.
A blade of light formed from yellow moonlight flew straight out of the butterflies, passing through the white-light humanoid and leaving a huge slash mark on the shop wall. If Shade had not had such strong control over Moonlight Slash, that wall might no longer have existed after the blow.
The shop's fat owner had already fled upstairs, while Shade, having returned to human form, finally saw what this thing was.
Its entire body was glowing, and its original human appearance could no longer be made out. Nothing could be seen beneath the light. The only difference from a normal human body was that this thing's neck was abnormally long, and its head was abnormally large.
Its overly heavy head drooped slightly, and the light from it was stronger than that from the rest of its body. It was practically like a gas lamp bulb hanging at the end of its neck.
Although Shade's previous strike had been completely ineffective, it still gave up chasing the fat owner, turned around, spread its arms, and lunged at Shade.
Shade did not move. When the white-light humanoid approached him, Darkness Art activated through Calamity Cards of the Deep Sea enveloped both "people." The strange glowing humanoid was immediately swallowed by darkness, then vanished completely.
