Speaking in the incomprehensible manner diviners often used, Luvia then smiled at them.

She snatched the wine glass from Shade's hand after he had already taken a sip from it, then looked toward Iluna on the other side of the banquet hall, where she was feeding grapes to Little Liana. Angelina stood nearby, holding a plate of strawberries and looking eager to try. Such fruit was quite precious during winter; under normal circumstances, not even a Princess would feed it to a pet. Angelina was not unaware of this winter's severe food shortage—but a Unicorn was not a pet. It was a friend.
Luvia had just been about to walk toward them when she turned back to Emilia and smiled as she winked her beautiful right eye.
