"So she came in the morning and never left?"
Shade's mouth fell slightly open. This possibility had never occurred to him at all.
"Yes. Isn't Dorothy the author of the Detective Hamilton Story Collection? Miss Goode might be interested in her, so we had Dorothy keep her company upstairs. Galina arranged for lunch to be served at home, but to avoid frightening that lady, only Dorothy joined her."
Luvia said. Shade held the cat rubbing against him in his arms and looked up at the 1st Floor ceiling. Only after several seconds did he ask the young ladies around him:
"Quick, help me see whether my clothes are suitable."
"Honestly, Tifa, help our Detective straighten out his clothes."
The Red-haired Witch said with a smile. But Tifa had only just taken a step in his direction when Shade heard voices coming from the stairwell. One voice clearly belonged to the blonde writer, while the other was an especially gentle and composed female voice.
"Go on."
Luvia gave Shade a light push. Everyone on the 1st Floor promptly hid in the bedroom and kitchen. Shade glanced down at Little Mia, then quickly carried it toward the foyer.
By the time he reached the foyer, the two ladies descending the stairs were also nearly at the bottom. Thus, the first glimpse Shade had of the unfamiliar lady was her profile rather than her face. But as they met in the foyer, the lady whose appearance Shade had long known, having met Dorothy during the "Yodel Palace Time Loop," truly came into his sight.
Her skin was as delicate as white jade, as though it had absorbed the essence of sunlight itself. Every inch of her skin seemed to radiate the warmth of radiance. She looked down at Shade from above with curiosity
